You forgot to add that Christiano Ronaldo became the first player to score in 6 different World Cups, with no single knockout goal to his credit

FiveFootNinja:
I guess I'll post this here too:

At the 2026 USCAMEX FIFA World Cup,

Countries I'm rooting hard for:
Brazil, England, Japan

Countries I have a soft spot for (but won't hurt me if they lose):
Korea Republic, Mexico, USA, Canada, Turkiye, Australia, Senegal, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iraq

Countries I simply don't care about:
Czech Republic, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Switzerland, Qatar, Scotland, Haiti, Paraguay, Ivory Coast, Ecuador, Germany, Curacao, Netherlands, Sweden, Tunisia, Belgium, Iran, New Zealand, Spain, Cape Verde, Uruguay, France, Algeria, Jordan, Austria, Portugal, Norway, Uzbekistan, Croatia, Panama

Countries I hate and I'm actively rooting against to fail:
South Africa, Morocco

Countries I like but I'm rooting against anyway for the banter:
Ghana, Argentina, DR Congo

I think that about covers it.
YOUR HATE, YOUR PROBLEM. Who will win it will win it, YET YOUR HANDS MAY NEVER EVEN TOUCH THE TROPHY.

South Africa Becomes The First Country Knocked Out Of The 2026 FIFA World Cup

South Africa entered the 2026 FIFA World Cup with hope and determination. They made history by qualifying for the knockout stage for the first time, a proud achievement for the nation and for African football.

However, their journey came to an end tonight in Los Angeles. Canada defeated South Africa 1-0 with a late goal from Stephen Eustáquio in stoppage time. It was a heartbreaking exit, but South Africa can hold their heads high for the progress they made and the spirit they showed.

This campaign will be remembered as a turning point. South Africa proved that they can compete at the highest level, and their qualification for the knockout stage will inspire future generations.

Congratulations to South Africa for making history, even though the journey ended earlier than they wished.

South Africans players and fans need to head back to South Africa so they can meet up with the planned 30th xenophobic protest.

They must join hands to protest so that foreigners will let go of their Jobs.

SA have really tried. We never expected they will make it from the group stage. Their return plane was already steaming with the engine on before they pulled a surprise on everybody. Anyway, nothing spoil, they have marked the register.
