Makinde Caused Oyo Schoolchildren, Teachers Abduction – Fayose by SlavaUkraini(op): 1:03am On Jun 29
Former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, says Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State is responsible for the abduction of schoolchildren and teachers in the state.

Fayose made the remark in an interview on Arise Television while reacting to the abduction of schoolchildren and teachers in Oyo State.

According to him, Makinde was not proactive enough in addressing insecurity in the state.

I stand by my words. Seyi Makinde was not proactive enough. The abduction of schoolchildren and teachers in Oyo is a problem caused by Governor Seyi Makinde.

“It is the responsibility of the state government to mobilise the police. It is also its responsibility to manage the security network in the state,” he said.

Recall that suspected bandits abducted schoolchildren and teachers in Oyo State and later killed one of the teachers.

This whole thing is beginning to look suspicious seeing that Makinde's presidential ambition has been put on hold ever since the incident. We are all seeing how desperate some individuals will go to ensure that they are the only candidate on the ballot. The ones who threatened to "put fire in his state" should also be called in for questioning. So dark the con of man!

Governors in the following states are apparently not proactive enough because they have also recorded kidnappings in their states and some of the victims are even still in captivity; Kogi, Kwara, Niger, Edo, Borno, Kaduna, Katsina, Zamfara, Kebbi, Sokoto, etc. State police might just be an opportunity for Tinubu to fully abdicate responsibility on security as we saw with the so-called local government autonomy. The "hold your governors accountable" merchants are about to go on overdrive.

Fayose was on top of security matters as a governor. He did not permit the excesses of fulanis. He personally would arrest not only cows but also errant fulani herdsmen.

He once led the police against a band of armed robbers. Ha was behaving as somebody who feared nothing as a governor.

Loved by his people. He is however, a thief like other politicians.

Some politicians are not ready for the safe return of the school children. All they are doing is weaponize it for selfish political purposes.

Oyo state security votes needs to be audited by a world renowned auditing firm.

How can a large scale crime occur in a state without instantaneous mobilization of security forces.

Fayose made valid points!

The governors get special allocation for security which a politician once said is like a refreshment allowance for governors.

Only in Lagos you can find a trace of such allocation as the state invests heavily on security through the RRS, and does not mean Lagos itself has enveloped crime.

But look at other states, you can’t even find traces of those billions.

These are the consequences of continuous looting of public funds.

He lived and acted the maxim, " na madness we dey use cure madness then".

Not the baby that says he wants to cure madness with madness and has now been turned to deaf and dumb.

That is what happens when an infant thinks he has grown old. I only emphasize with the families of the kidnapper innocent people.

But they are commanders- in - thief when it is time to collect humongous security votes on a monthly basis without nothing to show for it?

Your head deserves shaking. Continue with the shaking.

Sheikh Gumi says Tinubu knows the names and the locations of terrorists in Nigeria. And it is the responsibility of Tinubu’s government to mobilise the military to go after the terrorists. Can we also say that Tinubu is not proactive enough in addressing insecurity in Nigeria.

Fayose is wrong to allege Makinde on this as every state government is guilty of this type of accusations. The power of state government is very limited when it comes to controlling and directing the security agents. Fayose should stop fighting dirty as 2027 election will come and go and both of them will meet again in the town after election

When chibok girls were kidnapped, the current VP was the governor of Borno state.
No one made it about him. All the blames ended on GEJ in Abuja
Even the NADECO fraudster called for the resignation of the president
Today, him and the boko haram founder are the number one and 2
U now want us to hold the governor.

Boko Haram founder Mohammed Yusuf was killed during the administration of President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua. Yusuf was captured by the military and summarily executed in police custody on July 30, 2009, during widespread security crackdowns.

Mr. Fayose is a reckless talker.

I 💯 agree with mr Fayose.. Gov Makinde body language showed his unseriousness immediately after news of the unfortunate kidnap.

Imagine launching presidential campaign just days after the kidnap incident, then later kept passing the blame.
