I wish our Nigerian Business Men will try and maintain some level of integrity in their way of doing Business.

For example, at Alaba International Market, there are many Videos of these guys just using Lithography to paste Name of different premium Products, on their Fake, adulterated and Counterfeit Products. They dont even pretend about ti.

Why not go for an infrared cooker like Fred, it has a maximum power of 2200w but can be reduced to as low as 100w and at 800w-1000w the burner turns red. It’s quite fast, energy efficient, has timer, works with any pot and comes with grill stand for grilling or roasting corn. It’s what I’m using as I we have stopped using gas since last year.
.

After getting the mama home induction cooker, unfortunately for me non of my pot is compatible with it, went to buy the pot they were calling hundreds of naira, I gently got this infared and is very active with nobs to regulate the wattage. I don pack the induction cooker keep. Thanks for this advise boss. soon as I upgrade pannels I go leave gas for una very soon. My biggest challenge now is charging my battery cry

That there are Fake / compromised solar panels at Alaba, doesn't mean it's all of them.

Good morning

Please how far these automatic transfer switches (e.g Tomzn ATS). Are they very effective? How about the transfer time? Are they fast enough like an inverter on UPS mode? (Are they fast enough not to damage a fridge compressor?) Please i need help on this. Thanks

How do you now identify the good ones from the bad dealers who are more in number than the few good ones?

Best bet is to avoid them there if the market authorities can not purge itself of these criminals disguising as international businessmen and women.

Hello guys, I am looking at a system upgrade to higher voltage and higher capacity batteries and would be disposing off 2 units of Deriy 25.6v 2.5kw batteries used in parallel in my existing set up.Batteries were bought last year and are still in good shape.

I am open to reasonable offers.

na wetin separate those of us into that line with Casual individuals.

There are things we teach here, there are those you learn in the long run through constantly involving in it. Being a doctor from the best University doesn't compare with a Doctor of several years handsOn experience.

If the ATS transfer time is less than 20ms, which most of these ATS falls into, you don't have a problem. Eg I have one from Taxnele that has a transfer time of 8ms, my freezer doesn't restart.

The problem I have with this infrared cooker is that the wattage you see on the display is for decoration.
200w would be consuming 600w - 1200w
800w would be consuming upto 2000w

I used a wattmeter to see the actual consumption.

But my induction cooker was accurate

Yes, and it’s quite fast and the power consumption - wattage can be regulated.

That must be a fake infrared cooker, in fact when I set my own at 1000w it will be consuming from below 800w on the inverter.

Yes, induction cookers only work with pots that have magnetic base. Pots made with pure aluminum or steel won’t work on induction cookers. On the other hand, infrared cookers work with all kind of pots including clay pots and cooks evenly too.

I never said ALL of them.
But the evidence suggests that MOST them are into it.
What i would expect is that the Union (every Trade Group has a Union in that place) will mobilize the Good Ones among them, with the Help of the Govt Authorities like Police, Standards Organization, NADFDAC, etc, to rout out the ones giving them a bad business.
But instead, it seems they are mostly doing it, since it is all about making money.

These Counterfeiting and Fakery kills People and destroys Family/Businesses, it needs to STOP
A Business man can still make Reasonable Profit, without cutting this sort of evil corners
