Re: False Claims Of Bid To Acquire Stake In Kano Pillars Football

Our attention has been drawn to an online publication suggesting that BUA Group and its Chairman, Abdul Samad Rabiu, have submitted a bid to acquire a 70% stake in Kano Pillars Football Club.

We would like to clarify that this report is inaccurate and does not reflect any position, action, or communication from BUA Group or Abdul Samad Rabiu. No such bid has been made, and there has been no engagement with any party on this matter.

We kindly request that this report be disregarded, and we encourage the public and members of the press to rely only on official statements issued through BUA Group’s verified channels for accurate information regarding our activities.

We appreciate the continued interest in BUA Group and thank the public for their understanding.

It's a rumor, however it will be a good thing to do if BUA can acquire Kano pillar which might revitalised our league because others like Dangote, Adenuga, Adeleke and myself might have interest in stake of other clubs.

Better to invest in a serious club
Re: BUA Group Debunks Claims Of Bid To Acquire Stake In Kano Pillars Football Club by MichaelTokunboh(m): 5:42am On Jun 30
It wouldn't be a bad idea for BUA Group to invest though, Kano Pillars is formidable football ⚽ club in the Nigerian Premier League.
Our football sector in particular & the sports industry in general urgently need private investments to enhance growth & development.

Oga Abdulsamad, even though na rumor. But try consider the rumour and buy the club outrightly, so that Dangote and your co rich friends go fit buy other clubs and make our league competitive

God forbid they invest at home!

Mention Arsenal and these billionaires start salivating like dogs. But sponsor a Nigerian team like Kano Pillars?
Develop local football? Write proper contracts and attract real sponsors? They jump out with a statement “God forbid!”

Rabiu, without Nigerians would your networth be growing ? Are you planning to take the money with you ?
Splashing a fraction on Kano Pillars won’t kill you.

Yet you’ll happily increase the price of cement and petrol to swell your net worth with zero remorse. This is the problem with Nigerian billionaires, they milk the country dry but refuse to give anything meaningful back.

Shame. Pure greed.

This is a shameful statement. I would retract this statement and at least offer them a donation, if you don't buy a stake in the club. Nigerians government gives all these oligarchs tax waivers, Forex before subsidy was removed etc.

The least they can do is spread the love. Every state's association of private businessmen with government/national patronage or national patronage, should be mandated to run the football teams in each state.

Somethings should not even be demanded,

Thats why our football has been deteriorating....We have a lot of elite retired footballers that can manage these state based teams.

It will be nice if these billionaires can invest in our local leagues. The league is growing slowly but still needs be be invested in heavily. The government does not run all these big European clubs, they're owned by billionaires or billionaire franchises. We just need to make our league attractive so as to attract sponsors and investors

Please don't be sentimental...

He cannot just buy the club because it is a Nigerian club. The Nigerian league is so unpredictable that any investor will have to think twice or thrice before putting money there

Make him buy Kano pillars wey fans go wan beat am if them lose? 😁

MKO Abiola invested in football, why didn't they beat him ?
We have to start doing charity at home....to whom much is given, much is expected.....
Our billionaires with national patronage should spend more on CSR.....
Nigerians buying his cement are the ones boosting his net-worth.....
It wont cost him anything to give a little entertainment in Kano by supporting Kano pillars, trust me.

FYI....its spelt "trash" : You throw out trash, its used as a noun.

On the other hand "thrash" means to hit, beat, move violently, or “thrash out a plan”

You are welcome.

Why don't you invest in one of the local clubs?
Is it BUA's fault that you're penniless?
LOL....you assume everyone is a pauper.
Some Nigerians are wealthy.....with real class...not releasing a statement to defy supporting kano pillars in your own home state.

It is so cringe.

Carry your wailing commot here!

Is anyone preventing you from making your own money?
Go and hustle for your own money and invest it in one struggling football club from your region

We have called him out. There is nothing you can do. He should give you the money for Kano pillars or add it to his net-worth so there can be more zero's $5,690.000,000,000,000 dollars. grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

Writing a whole letter to say he is not supporting Kano pillars is tasteless. He should have just stayed quiet.

It's only in Nigeria you see broke and penniless people giving advice to the rich on how to spend their money

The only way you can benefit from owning a football club in Nigeria is maybe its a farm club for foreign club to get local talents else you are just running a charity foundation

Once again you display ignorance like a proud peacock spreading its feathers. The Chairman of the Federal Reserve earns a poor man’s salary, yet he dictates how the world’s billionaires move their money, crash economies, and print trillions.

But when Nigerians demand that Oligarchs stop hoarding wealth in a country dying of poverty, you call it "broke people advising the rich."Oga, poverty has fried your brain. Keep licking boots. Clown...... grin cheesy grin cheesy
