How to End Boko Haram Within Six Months


If Nigeria is serious about defeating Boko Haram, it must stop treating security as solely a federal responsibility. State governors should be given greater constitutional authority over security within their states, enabling them to respond swiftly and decisively to local threats.


At the same time, accountability must be strengthened. Any state that continues to experience persistent terrorist activity should face a 50% reduction in its federal allocation until measurable improvements in security are achieved. When state leaders have both the authority to act and a clear incentive to deliver results, they will be more motivated to make the safety of their citizens their highest priority.

But the only feasible way to end this insecurity is to employ two powerful foreign mercenaries to flush these guys out first before handing over to state Police or any other because our indigenous security can no longer finish these Jihadists as it stands because our entire security is compromised....we have sympathizers of these terrorists among our top security outfits. I have been saying this before now.


Before this is done, The President must order all Nigerian military back to their respective barracks with immediate effect.....they should also leave checkpoints.....then start a new Nigerian security leadership style in Nigeria whereby heads of every military cantonment or barrack in any Nigerian state must come from that state.


The same should apply to heads of DSS, Police Commissioners and other Police tactical units and formations....all these heads and even their assistants must come from the state they are posted to.


Next, set up drone surveillance and attack stations in every state capital to be under the office of every state Governor.

And Tinubu said they are up to 200,000 repentant terrorists he has reintegrated. They are already far more than our armies in number and they are birthing children in the bush also by the women they are kidnapping. Many of those children and the children kidnapped have increased their number immensely. It's a matter of time, the terrorist will hijack power and legislate Shariah law. Even that will not work. Don't you guys get it? Northern leaders at all levels (military, political, religious , cultural etc) are supporters and affiliates of bandits and terrorists.

The problem is ideological. Banditry and terrorism only ends when Northerners want it to. Many Northerners support banditry and terrorism tacitly or overtly meaning there is no end in sight.

If mercenaries neutralise all bandits today, won't more rise through the Almajiri recruiting system the likes of Atiku should dedicate themselves to ending yet they don't?
