@Hajaratu119, if you applied for any of the organizations under CDCDIB, you ought to have pressed for it long before this Medical Stage. At this stage, it's really hard to change things favourably for you. Those DGs are constantly bombarded with requests similar to yours from every corner.

There's no harm in seeking and I hope you get the contact and it favors you.

Hi, everyone, I'm not a regular here, but reading the latest comments here shows why people with genuine info would be hesitant to release certain info.

First, Gabicon20, you need to calm down. Yes @jemmy2142 might be very excited and overzealous, but his post has a lot of truth to it. Don't over rely on this medical screening

Do you know what has happened from Application Stage to the current medical Stage? Connection levels differ on strength and association.

Some connect works after application where their candidate will skip all stage and are slotted in the medical stage. Those who got to this stage by connect are almost likely to get the job bar any extreme medical issues.

While some other connect after application, they do not bother themselves with the rest of the stages. They are simply waiting for their APL which they will get. These are the two major realities that exist in Nigeria's Public Recruitment System.

In all of these, there's still a window, however small for merit. So, some might still get it on merit. But if you have your connection, it's way more easier for you.

These three reality co-exists side-by-side.

I'm very sure that these are what jemmy2142 was alluding to that those who got here through connect are certain of getting the job. Excuse his overzealousness.

NOTE, I'm not writing for you to believe ANYTHING I'm saying because it does not change the reality. I'm writing to encourage you to calm down and take what's of benefit to you in his post and similar ones and move on. No harm intended bro. Cheers.

They are already having it; I have seen someone in the position for the past 10 years despite passing promotions and interviews every year.


It will keep on getting worse as the years pass by.

So once everybody through with medical screening next week

Everything will be silent until toward ending of August or first week September, shivering will start, so that is when you will know that everything is grace, prayer, you won't even remember to call connect talkless of slot self, because they won't pick your call , what will matter most is make I just see my name and collect appointment letter
That is when you will know Everything is God and God alone that do it for you with the grace attach to it ..

Is it lack of ambition or lack of choice, whether U get it or not isn't a huge issue, Jst skill up, they are lots of private sector job that pays ways better don't limit urself and don't subject urself to the mindset that u know someone that bought a house or a range rover in civil defense or immigration, only 1% of officers in cdcfib would be exposed to such rare opportunities to make it through corruption, the rest of u would suffer and complain everyday in the office about school fees and house rent.

Anyways only pple who haven't had a job before would argue and expose their love for little

I think people are rushing fed jobs for job security. A lot of people probably do other businesses even while working. Not sure this is applicable to all agencies though.

Meanwhile, people should birth fewer children.

This is one of the major reason why most people are after government. If you're a fresh graduate and still young I don't advise starting career with a government job.
If you're young and ambitious, I also don't advise taking up government job.

This doesn't mean government job is bad but goals and dreams differ

I can't agree any less with you. Nigeria labour market can be very funny with crazy and unrealistic requirements
