I just think they are not confident enough, I guess. Those in the game know that red is an opportunity to build wealth; however, if profit-taking and coming back in the bull run will make them happy, they can always go ahead.

Good job; you should dive into foreign stocks for diversification. I have some huge Yakubu stocks and ETFs that can do 200-300+ in a year; nevertheless, the Yakubu in the foreign market does not sleep or slumber.

Sister, an equity fund is not your thing; nevertheless, I recommend taking your profit and not investing in stocks or equity anymore. There is no bull or bear that stays forever. What comes up will definitely go down and what goes down will also do the former.

I’m not even waiting for bull run, my idea is to buy back as the dip continues , that’s an opportunity to accumulate. As much as a company is good to buy into, price must be attractive.

Someone is laughing cos we’re moving portfolios to MMF, riddle me this, I put my money in Zedcrest since January and I made 118% profits, a pullback happens and I move my portfolio to maintain my profits and prepare to buy back in. Currently Zedcrest has pulled back to 90% ish, and will likely pull back even more, it’s a no brainer to buy back when the market has entered accumulation phase

by the way, Zedcrest has pulled back to 83% !!!


What an opportunity, there’s no way Zedcrest won’t end the year with 100%+ but it’s obvious that taking advantage of this dip will even make you more than zedcrest’s reported return at the end of the year.

Yeah at this pull back point I don't think we have more than -10% dip to go from here, wish I could do a Fibonacci retracement 📉 on Zedcrest but portfolios ain't single stock .So if your good with NCA wait till say 70% ish and if you never catch the ultimate bottom you should still be alright if you start buying back in at that region ...what the heck is even happening with Dangotes IPO...why is the buzz not helping the NGX from this Yakubu

Yes, that is a good idea; buying the dip brings money at the end of the day. To sum it up, we are not chasing quick money; bulls and bears definitely have their own purpose in the market.

I have a friend who just cashed out from Intel; he held it for two years and no DCA. I checked the total returns, and he made 300%+. Let's assume he was doing "DCA"; as of today, he would have done 400%+.

from what I’ve heard, it’s two things, money is leaving the market either because T+1 is not favorable to international investors or people are trying to position for the IPO so basically dumping other stock for him

Do not take your gains yet if you are going to hold for the long term; just do DCA regularly and you will be good to go. Moreover, foreign stocks are known for gigantic volatility; your gains can be wiped out in 2-3 days.

Yes, I even spoke with my investment account officer and he said he would look into it. Till now, nothing. I am so exiting the fund after this. Funny enough, I funded via the GTWorld app so it is a direct debit. Not even a transfer.

Note that all the contact numbers on their site doesn’t work. They don’t pick the calls. The account officer number was seen in his email header and I called him many times for hours before he picked. I am shocked that a huge organization like Gtfund managers could be this callous in service. The least they can do is notify customers of a system glitch if there is a delay in top up. Rather; this is hide and seek. Stanbic all the way. 10 years with Stanbic, never had an issue that wasn’t resolved in 48 hours.

Please has this issue been resolved? For nearly a month now, my money has been trapped in their redemption glitch. Millions of Naira!! They dont reply emails and messages

One lesson every trader learns with time is the importance of timing. If you don't learn to time the market you'll be timed-out. Despite the enticing returns many reported here on equity and stocks, I knew the downward trend was coming, it was just a matter of when. So I stuck with MMF and other instruments like fixed deposit while I wait for an entry. Still so not think the bottom is in so I'll wait just keep waiting till then.

it applies to Zedcrest too, the only difference is they’re all better than some fund managers that require 180 days wait period as opposed to 90 days

Support seems to be settling at 225k points on the ASI. Lets see if it settles or continues to dip

I have been following gtfund manager account on facebook and instagram for few weeks. People are complaining that they are unable to withdraw their money. They keep deleting comments. Please what is happening ?
