Those two episodes are essentially the long-delayed finale episodes of season 2 we didn’t get two years ago, which does mean there are only 6 episodes left this season for material past the intended end point of Season 2.

If a Nollywood show is returning for a second season, it is not because they took enough time to make it so that it is good, they did it in haste, for a quick cash grab and it showed. It was a diabolical watch to say the least.

The first season had a very high production value, with a cohesive story tackling an important social vice. You could clearly see Netflix's print on it. But the first sign of disaster for this was the lack of the usual "tudum" intro. It is remoured that Netflix has been quietly scaling back on sponsoring original content here, and it was so obvious.

The story continues from S1, as Kemi and Sarah are facing consequences for their actions, making this a court and prison drama. The production value was gutter quality, The opening shot of the court house, has a Eko Judicial High Court sign, and in the same shot if you observe, There is a "Faculty of Engineering" signpost in the same shot , and the prison walls was the same as the courthouse, so probably a hotel block in the uni.

It was riddled with so many plot holes, that i lost count and the acting were so amateurish even from established members of the Cast which the shamely tried to cover by saying to many unnecessary swear words..f bombs were flying left right and center.

They tried to Hollywoodized, and do OITNB, which doesn't work well in a Nigerian context and failed terribly at both, their worst crime was hinting at a possibility of an S3, but they will be actually crazy if they do it. The final straw of how rubbish this show was, was when they had a typo in one of the episodes title cards 😩, i just burst out laughing. There wasn't a clear thinking person anywhere around this show, not in production, and certainly not in cast.


A miserable watch.

it was great watching this amazing show
not sure why they made only 2 episodes for this season but i’m glad it ended with Rhaenyra finally claiming the throne like her father wanted 🙏🏿

I think that was their original plan.
But likely issues so they pushed it to season 3.

Season 2 ended up being a season with setups but no payoff.

Regardless, the Alicent writing decision makes it hard to take the current events seriously. Alicant continues to be a ridiculous character to the point that any victory earned through her actions feels shallow

They somehow decide to push it into this season.

I don’t know why Hollywood 99% of the time the last season of a show is always badly done.

I thought Season 1 was good albeit a little slow, Season 2 is better, more thrilling and ties and progresses all the plot points introduced in Season 1 neatly..

This should have been an episodic release, I binged it and wanted more immediately..

There is a lot of things I don’t like and this season didn’t feel like euphoria from the music, characters and cinematography, ohh I forgot the emotional connection is different and bad…… I feed on emotional scenes.

I understand the story will be different since it’s outside school life but do we really need that big jump timeframe?

This season was more of corn, Cassie and onlyfan Ad which I was never really interested from day one.

Rue died, Why? You can kill anyone from this show but not Rue, basically she is the main character I’m so invested on and the drugs boy that dies from real life last year or two.

There is a reason why the show is called “Euphoria” Season 1 and 2 really brings out the meaning of the word but S3 doesn’t.


I’ll end it here.
