A place with loud sounds should not have pop installed. The damage has been done over the years due to the reverberating sounds from the loud speakers used in this event centers. Its advisable that anywhere there will be a reverberating sound or constant vibration, POP should not be advised by building experts.

PoP Ceilings will always fail is just a matter of time. It can only last if there is no water leakages in where near the decking. Once there is leakage it will fall

Gypsum plasterboard is the solution all the way.

As an event person and venue manager for many years. I always go against ceiling installations by decorators, cos you don't know the level of the pop installation if it's strong or not. Also sound vibrates so badly. In halls. We always tell DJs to always reduce there sound. But na lie, they would want to k show themselves.

They will come out to ban pop instead of regulating it

Pop upstairs won't fall, it's not so common occurrence, once the fillas is properly attached to the nogging or rafter woods.
But under decking. ,no matter how solid. If there is leakage is not identified on time or corrected. the pop will fall. It could also fall as a result of poorly done job.

A simple google search will tell you that constant powerful reverberaing sounds will cause cracking overtime which can lead to the collapse of the pop.
