What are you trying to say with the bolded?

An African man saying this about himself.

Look yourself in the mirror, what do you see?
Just leave that boy. He is so deluded to think so low of himself.

There is a reason James' morning show is the most listened to in the whole of the UK while Nick Ferrari's doesn't even come close.

Will leave it at that, mate.
I don't believe it, you might be a fan of Dave O brien but i am not, Mr Ferari is my favourite, you have yours fair enough. Telling there is a reason is just ridiculous anyway i don't believe it i repeat, i have been listening to Nick Ferrari and even Dave O brien sometimes for 20 years now and i still say Nick Ferrari is the award winner.

When South Africa was eliminated, I wrote: "Other African teams will also start dropping out in short order. African teams are still playing amateur football that relies on skill and athletism. The only African country that seem to have figured out world class soccer is Morocco. For some strange reason, other African countries can't figure it out. Morocco will go furthest than all African countries because they are playing the game exactly the way world class teams do."
Abegi, it's their time. All these analysis now will be scattered few years to come. The same Morocco will become like water again. No be today. Shebi Ghana almost got to Semi in 2010 if not for Suarez's decision to turn to keeper and Asamoah losing the penalty. After then, where is Ghana today?

Nigeria too rose to 4th or 5th in the world around 1994 to 1996. Where are we today?

Every African nation have a time to spark.
Re: England Vs DR Congo: World Cup 2026 Round Of 32 (2 - 1) On 1st July 2026 by frog12: 7:53pm On Jul 01
no be the tactic Cote Ivoire use with 3 defenders dem come forget Harlaad for back? grin grin

SpiritedCheer:
Absolute Nonsense. African team have not figured out the concept of SPACE and PRESSURE. The moment I saw all the the way DR Congo were neither clogging spaces nor pressuring the ball carrier, I knew they will lose. The only African country that seem to have figured out the concept of clogging SPACES and PRESSURING a ball carrier is Morocco. For some strange reason, other African countries can't figure it out. That's why Nigeria never do well. African teams depend on skill and athleticism. Those are not enough. Morocco will go furthest than all African countries because they are playing the game exactly the way world class teams do.

good. nigeria plays like moroccans grin
victor moses and lookman.
its fast pace football
Nigeria does not play like Morocco. We are still playing childish, amateur soccer that depends on skill and athleticism. Go and re-watch the African Cup of Nations, and see how Morocco neutralized Iwobi's dangerous passes. We will always crash out against top class teams. The moment I saw all the the way DR Congo were neither clogging spaces nor pressuring the ball carrier, I knew they will lose. The only African country that seem to have figured out the concept of clogging SPACES and PRESSURING a ball carrier is Morocco.

It's so pathetic in this world cup. Not like previous editions. Is it a thing with the North American commentators or am I missing something here?

Has Mbappe outscored Harry Kane in the last three seasons?
And lastly, is Mbappe a striker in the mold of Kane?
Kane has been consistent for the past 10yrs and you think he's overhype.
.
I repeat again, no striker is up to him including Mbappe. Mbappe and co are behind.

Lol... okay.

Let's keep making excuses na.

I heard these excuses when Morocco was nowhere near top 20 in the world... Today, they have taken themselves up while the rest of us are still making excuses.

That said... In today's game, that meant nothing... If Congo had maintained that pressure and taken their chances, England would have been disgraced out.

Senegal did it to France in 2002... Morocco dusted out Portugal last world cup.

Self belief can do wonders... Go and watch how Mexico plays.
Yes, Self Belief is good and works sometimes...
But It cant replace a structured and working system and consistency.
U need consistency to stay at the top and compete.
Thats why it will take a long time for an African Nation to win the Wcup
Maybe Morocco can do it in our lifetime

My friend will you keep kwayet, those players would have created chances upon chances than what we saw now.
Did you see England do anything from middle apart from going wide and relying on crosses
England has no MIDFIELD!

Absolutely no single creativity and distribution down that middle. It's an eyesore.

Oya! Tell us about football, tell us wetin happen! grin you wey sabi, you wey don play world cup match telll us!
For match wey I watch from beginning to end, I can only commend the DRC guys, me I no see where dem show too much respect. Football is not entertainment, it’s a tactical and strategic game.

Quality wise and player to player, DRC is not on par with England, which means they have to be strategic. Saying they should play all out just like their opponent could work but will most probably end bad, that’s why you have some teams losing 5 nill, 7 nill (Ecuador to Germany, Uzbekistan to Senegal etc) and you’d end up saying those teams have no tactics or quality e.t.c

Speaking of Morocco, they are a well grounded team, for years nw, no be today but they can still fall bad against teams like France or Argentina.

Football is not mortal kombat. Make una go out go play first, make una see how e dey.

Senegal in 2022 could have entered the Semi too, but a tiny golden rule goal Vs Turkey who eventually came third that year denied them.

Dont be surprised France would be edge out by Paraguay. There is something you guys need to know no favourite to win World Cup have ever won it except Brasil. Last World Cup it was brasil and France nobody gave Aregentina chance but Argentina won it. 2020 World Cup nobody gave France change to win it, all eyes were in Brasil and Germany but France won it. In2014 the favourite was Argentina and Brasil and Belgium but Germany won it. In the 2010 it was Brasil and England but Spain won it for the first time. And so on. This year I think Brasil will win it bc they are not among the favourite to win it and that will make them relax. Any favourite team will be under a serious preasure that’s why they don’t normally win. Favourite this World Cup are Portugal and France and England. Let’s see how it goes but they are already under pressure.
