They merely fed off the proceeds from the temple. The pastor in question is talking about those who placed a price tag on their services. In as much as I don’t agree totally with what he said, he is partly right.

Playing drum is a service to God not a ministry in itself. So are the singers, the ushers and those who clean the church. They all minister with their services.

Like I've stated before; if you're a Christian, get to know the Word of God for yourself, to avoid being swayed here and there with all kinds of teachings.

You are getting it wrong. Playing drums in church is the same as serving in the ushering unit, cleaning unit, children's unit and any other unit in the church. These are voluntary services whereby those involved have their different jobs aside being church workers. However, there are paid services amongst the listed units. If a drummer decides to go in for full time, the church will have to pay. You guys should understand the dynamics of certain things before drawing conclusions abeg.....no be rocket science

Don't mind all these funny people. I've worked in a church office before....you pay yourself, pay resident pastors and their assistants, pay some key church workers and refuse to pay instrumentalists and they'll tell you it sacrifices.

Let him stop collecting tithes, prophet offerings, seed offerings etc let is see if he will survive. Oniranu
