Dabss:Never knew a pot can burn a cooker. I will wait to confirm myself. |

HawkTuahGirl:All stainless steel cookwares has magnetic properties in them though not as pronounced as that of straight pure metallic materials. Hence, they are slightly magnetic and will work with induction cooker. Another thing is that most stainless steel are light weight and hence they easily burn food |

ajabani4allah:Yet they work. You dont have to spend 100k plus for induction pots, if you have stainless pots and you are short of fund. I tested with magnet, dem no magnet anything. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by bassdow: 12:45pm On Jul 01 |
ajabani4allah:issue is, not all of them. saying all can be misLeading. either way, Good thing someone shared this BUT still we need point out not all though many are. |

HawkTuahGirl:I once drop a stainless spoon on induction cooker, it didn't heat up. But it worked on a stainless plate cover. |

HawkTuahGirl:i have some stainless pot, only the one that work with magnet work with the induction cooker others did not work, so not all with written stainless steel works. can you share the picture of your own cooker |

OgogoroFreak:If you buy the cheapo. Have been using mine for more than 4 years now with no issue. Buy a good brand, don't cheap out and you are good. Recently upgraded mine this year. Same result. Don't just buy cheaply made one. The pot cover of my recent purchase weighs 1.62kg

Still, one needs know when they paying for logo vs quality |

bassdow:There are places where you can get away with just losing money, buying a cheap pressure pot is not one of them; you may likely lose more than money ![]() |

blexxonmak:Thanks bro. I was able to balance the cells in my battery by following a YouTube guide. This is what worked for me: 1. Set the **absorption voltage** on your MPPT just below the total battery voltage where your BMS triggers over-voltage/full charge. In my case, the BMS would cut off when one cell reached 3.6V while the others were around 3.4V, with the total pack voltage at about 13.8V. So I initially set the absorption voltage to **13.7V** and used a long absorption time. 2. Set the **absorption time** to somewhere between **2 and 6 hours**. 3. Each time the battery reached full charge without the BMS cutting off, I gradually increased the absorption voltage. I went from **13.7V** (around 88% SOC) to **13.9V** (around 90% SOC), then gradually up to **14.4V**, and finally **14.5V**. 4. If you're using a **passive BMS** (which is what my battery came with), you'll probably need to repeat this process over several charge cycles—mine took about a week. 3 **End result:** The cell voltage difference dropped from **0.125V** to **0.007V**, then **0.003V**, and it's now less than **0.003V**. The cells are now almost perfectly balanced. |

twinskenny:Thanks for the assistance. It's just that I prefer to get the induction cooker with users experience since most people on this thread have given a good review of the Dayo cooker and maxi induction cooker I already have 4 electric cookers that I'm not satisfied with it's either they are not energy efficient or cook too slow so will not want to take the risk of getting a 5th cooker without good reviews. I'm seeing it advertised on jiji for #35,000 but have never bought items there before, I won't mind buying the maxi induction cooker if I see it at a fair price Thanks once again |

I twinskenny:I swear I'm afraid installing this on my roof... my landlord sef told me he saw online that solar panel dey burn house chaii . Is it true house? Also, pls I wanna ask isn't this a flat roof, I heard some people said it can be placed on it directly without using that rack |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by bassdow: 8:04pm On Jul 02 |
Whytehandy:Kindly do understand that an induction cooker's technology differs completely froma regular cooker. Enter market buy any Good enough quality one New / USEd. So long it's an induction cooker, it's energy efficiency would always be much better |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by chadbasin: 10:05pm On Jul 02 |
twinskenny:That's what I've always thought, as well. |
