I have been following gtfund manager account on facebook and instagram for few weeks. People are complaining that they are unable to withdraw their money. They keep deleting comments. Please what is happening ?
This is not true, well at least for MMF.

I went to my app immediately after reading this comment and initiated withdrawal.

I was credited in less than 3 minutes.

Unless it's equities they are not getting, but MMF had dropped after withdrawal

I agree it is an opportunity to build wealth especially if one is trading individual stocks on their own.

CSblackpink:
I just think they are not confident enough, I guess. Those in the game know that red is an opportunity to build wealth; however, if profit-taking and coming back in the bull run will make them happy, they can always go ahead.

It’s all about patience. Patience is virtue. The red days are to drive away the weak ones.

Please has this issue been resolved? For nearly a month now, my money has been trapped in their redemption glitch. Millions of Naira!! They dont reply emails and messages
I ended up sending multiple emails and calling multiple people. It was a bad experience and I redeemed all my funds and let Gt.

Have you tried going to a gtbank office to attempt to have them reach their investment section. You could also visit them in person if you are in Lagos.

This is not an investor mindset; this thread is not for you. No one is losing except those who sell. Yakubu is also dealing with me both at home and away.

If the ASI doesn’t settle at 225k points, we may be entering an actual bear market, if not, then we can assume this correction is in its final stages.

These fund managers are also scooping funds from the stock market to pay dividends. It's dividend season and the drop is expected. Things should be back to normal soon.

Chief, Your foreign Equity which is professional managed.

Are you allowed to take profit at will or there is a penalty for doing so?
Re: Equity Investment. by Bluearrow: 3:52pm On Jul 02
I used to think the Nigeria equity market is different from cryptto, but from what I have seen in this correction so far, there is no major difference o. Aradel is almost down 50% from its high of 2k within a space of how many weeks, imagine if this bear should continue till after election, what will become some of these stock prices.
Re: Equity Investment. by DataAnalyst2022:
What does this DCA mean pls?

Ok. Got it. DOLLAR COST AVERAGE.
CSblackpink:
Do not take your gains yet if you are going to hold for the long term; just do DCA regularly and you will be good to go. Moreover, foreign stocks are known for gigantic volatility; your gains can be wiped out in 2-3 days.
Re: Equity Investment. by princezzz(f): 6:31pm On Jul 02
Cardinal stone just sent me valuation statement for june, a whooping 13% decrease from May.
Them no dey send me before ooo grin. Its like they really wanted me to see the losses wella. I don see am.
Make them and stock market sha do, balance well this last few months till the end of 2026.
If not, we go still wait for them for front.
Re: Equity Investment. by emdeeCreativeW: 6:37pm On Jul 02
I hope July will be better cos ehn just 2 days everywhere is Red. Foreign stocks over red they worry am. I have redeemed my gtequity and paramount. I hope to be credited soon. Nawah ooo
Re: Equity Investment. by princezzz(f): 6:48pm On Jul 02
I have never paid any attention to the stock market before, all i knew was to collect dividend around May and November them.
Aradel was at #670 as at 1st of January this year, and that stock rose till #2000 plus by May and has now fallen to #1275 and probably still falling.
The market is wonderful. Its just like a very long game, If you are good, you will score, if you looseguard, you are on your own.
I still dey check which is better, trading as an investor for long term or "bargin humters" who buy, hold and sell off..
No be small thing oo, i am still a baby pikin here oo

Bro, foreign equity is crazier ooooo. After Spartacus has finished doing its thing, you will even be seeing another Yakubu warming up for next day trade. Nevertheless, it recovers faster with news, inflation reports, and so much stuff.

Most likely this July.

...but I'm not sure Zedcrest will pay because they've not been up to a year in the stock market.

Anyway, you can call them to know if they'd be paying dividend.

I asked because if you have the flexibility to take profit with the knowledge that certainly ETF or stocks is overheating. Then why stay put longer, you have made good profit, you take profit off the table and rebalance your portfolio for a new rally or with some other sector ETF.

For instance: I knew when Koru was overheating, I knew when smart buyers left and I know you were making good profit.

Why throw that profit away for the sake of DCA? When no one knows when the new rally will begin (don't get me wrong, it will surely happen given enough patience).

The only reason I didn't call you up to plan an exit is because I thought it was professionally managed and the firm will handle rebalancing.

Foreign Equities recover quickly I know but the feeling of DCA and the dips continue dipping isn't a good feeling, and if there was actually a deeper crash worse than correction, no one will know from the beginning but DCA will enable you keep buying and buying, shey you see my point now?

That's the same thing happening in Aradel now, some people bought dips at 1600 after ignoring my warning on X, Now Aradel is 1200 and it isn't over yet.

My point is, Good thing your robo advisor is there to take on good trades but I still maintain you should be heavily involved when it comes to rebalancing. Fine, DCA is a good strategy especially when you in the market long term but sometimes hope is the last to die.

Currently, NASDAQ is about to pull back and this will impact AI, semiconductors, tech stocks too. This is why I am concerned and had to reach out.

Where is aradel going if I can ask
Re: Equity Investment. by CSblackpink(m):
KORU is a 3X leverage, and it can't be held for the long term. I'm not into KORU; however, I have to track it as my ETF moves in the same direction as KORU. Taking profit is not a good option for me, as the foreign market can not be predicted. I intend to hold on for years to come. KOSPI, which is the main boss of tech stocks, has been fluctuating for two weeks, and today it went up 5.76% in the market, and my ETF is also up. If I were trading leverage stocks or2X-3X leverage ETFs, I would be taking profit everyday. Furthermore, my DCA has been buying a lot of units, which has also made my portfolio a 1-2X leverage. Lastly, one can't predict the foreign market either in a bear or bull season; you can buy today, and tomorrow it drops rapidly. Anyway, thanks for your advice.
