Just 2 days?

You've got to relax and look forward to 'Customs clearance completion' in respect of the item, which could take between 24 hrs and 1+ week.

2 days? The journey literally just started. I hope your case isn't as dire as most people here but from experience "Custom Clearance" typically takes upwards of 1 month if it's through NIPOST. If it's Speedaf then average or 1 week.

For context, I've been expecting this package for almost 3 months now. Custom clearance started exactly 2nd April and there's been no update since then. I'm hopeful because another package ordered exactly the same day and began customs clearance too same date arrived a few days ago. I've reached out to the vendor to let them know I finally received the parcel. They'll send me a link to make payments today as I already got refunded for it.

If you should be worried would depend on the letters in your tracking number and the location your product was shipped from. If the tracking number starts with NG, it'll get to you before june end most likely(for lagos), if it's LP all you can do is pray

So I think the post office staff have refused to just do their jobs. My package was showing received by local delivery company since Monday. I decided to go to the post office yesterday (marina). They said they had not received anything. That I should drop my number. Today they called me to come pick up and the tracking site showed no updates. I asked her why their services are like that in her words "you want make we no get work ni" I didn't want to press further, however what I can see is they intentionally create the chaos. It was a Malaysian post (LP) tracking number. You all might want to check with your post office especially if it has been cleared by custom

It's a matter of time – Speedaf sef go whorwhor pas Nipost!

How does one explain a scenario where an item arrived their "DC-Lagos" on Wednesday 17/06 but as at the evening of Friday 19/06 (even as I type this), the item is yet to dispatch to their office in owner's location within the same state, considering the fact that the possibility of getting the item delivered on weekend is not certain? My experience with Speedaf right now!

Parcel arrived destination in less than 2 weeks, cleared customs in 48 hours, but Speedaf intends to add extral days (at least 7 days now) to prolong its delivery timeline. Too bad!!!

No matter how bad speedaf experience is, I don't see it declining to current Nipost, much more being worse.
Since 2021, 5 years already. Anyone that has been using their service if sincere will admit no less than 80% satisfaction in their service.

1 unpleasant experience out of 10 or maybe 20, should not be enough to smear their services.

Let's not forget, the volume of work on their hand. Was at their office some months back, and seeing much packages(the floor was literally filled with different bags). I asked one of the attendant, why this much package? She replied, that they also handle some last mile delivery for Sharp logistics.

With speedaf, there's a over 90% probability you'd get your item, can't say same about Nipost.

This is what AliExpress and Malaysia Post should have pivoted too but for some reason have refused to. They only handle shipping to Nigeria while NIPOST does the last mile delivery to customers. Since there's been increased cases of delayed or missing parcel it becomes puzzling why they have refused to pivot to Speedaf.

Issue here is not 100% NIPOST. Until goods are cleared, NIPOST isn't responsible for the delivery. There's a middle man with the responsibility of clearing, if that's delayed, you can't hold NIPOST for it.

The more reason they should employ more hands to do the job!
After all, they're being paid for the services. More responsibility should equally necessitate comensurate manpower! But their stinginess won't let them do the right thing.

I know quite a number of their workers and delivery agents who'd stopped working with them on the ground of poor pay.

The truth is, I've had countless number of ugly experiences with Speedaf since they started. That's why, I, personally prefer to pick my items from my local PO which is just a stone's throne to my residence.

The other day, they mis - routed my order to the Eastern part of the country. By the time the item was routed back to their LOS - Distribution centre, I had expected them to dispatch it to my location. Instead, they sent the parcel back to China. All mails sent to their head office in respect of the item were never replied to.

I used to hold this opinion months ago, but I no longer think that's the case. I didn't even have proof when my opinion initially changed, the line of thought just didn't logical to me any longer. But a few weeks ago I got something close to evidence.

Custom clearance for my parcel started 2nd April and I already factored in the delay so didn't bother myself as I envisaged it was going to take at least a few weeks. After 6 weeks without any noticeable change, I sent a mail to NiPOST on th 23rd of May to find out if my parcel was with them and just maybe the tracker isn't reflective of reality. Notice this was exactly 1 month ago. I received a response hours later that it was at their exchange office in Lagos (so no longer with customs) and they were going to dispatch soon. It's been one month and I received just one of the parcel a week ago and the other is yet to be delivered.

So yes NIPOST is a key part of the issue. I also don't think Malaysia Post handle clearing of their items in Nigeria. That responsibility belongs to their Nigerian partner in this case Nipost.

Please, is it profitable buying phone assessories from AliExpress? Is it cheaper than buying from dealers in Lagos?
How about the quality of what you get as compared to what you ordered?
Moreso, have your packages been damaged due to packaging?

Good day house,
Is opay the cheapest option to pay for goods on aliexpress or is the bank cards better or what do you guys use
Re: This Thread Is Only For Aliexpress Shopper by kayus621(m): 5:38am On Jul 02
Hello, please I need help.

I want to open a dispute for a screen I bought because it started malfunctioning a few days after I received and installed it.

I completed the dispute description, but when I try to upload my video evidence, it keeps loading until it eventually says "Evidence submission timed out." At first, I thought the video file was too large. The maximum allowed video size is 500 MB, but my original video was only 111 MB. I even compressed it further to 60 MB, I also tried uploading a 8mb video just to test if it'll upload but I still get the same error. Only photos upload successfully, but photos are not enough to properly show the problem.

Can I use the AliExpress website instead of the app to open the dispute and upload the video evidence? My customer protection period will expire in a few days, so I need to resolve this as soon as possible.

I guess your internet speed is too slow for the video upload.

Yes, you can use the website on PC or activate "desktop version" of the site on your mobile browser. It should work.

This are some of the reason why some product stores are not shipping to Nigeria again - I see “we can’t ship to your region” quite often now - unless it’s a choice item.

May God help us.
