They have been several unintentional accident that ended with a red card. Do you watch football at all. Although nowadays they are beginning to look at the aggression behind the foul. But you can't break a player's leg even by mistake and not be sent out. They are lot of mistakes that have resulted to penalties so also mistakes that have led to sending off.

Messi was even already leading the polls. It was after they reopened voting that Ronaldo clinched it. Now how is that fair? But that is not being spoken about as much as Messi winning in 2010. A man wins nothing in a season and manages to qualify for the world cup and he was given the Balon d'or ahead of better performers who backed up their performances with trophies. Till today I am not sure voting has ever been reopened after it has been closed.

It was extended by 2 weeks into November of 2013. Never in life have we ever witnessed such daylight robbery. If you remember, Messi was already on 4 Balon d'ors and was close to clinching a 5th. Ronaldo fans were nearly dead in 2013. Ronaldo began to make publications, crying, whistling, whining about how he deserves the balon dor, how the system is rigged against him and madrid etc.

It was a serious plea, madrid propaganda machine, and victim mentality that made Ronaldo land that award of 2013.

Another lie. Ronaldo scored only 34 la liga goals in 2013. You must be confusing 2015 and in that season, Tevez's Juventus knoced out Real madrid and Messi won the treble with Barca for a 2nd time again.
