I believe this Dtigers squad will see off Guinea. Nigeria will defeat Guinea and Rwanda in the remaining games. The Iroegbu brothers and Metu are not in the mood to lose 😎.

Coach David Fizdale should be very pragmatic with his squad selections towards the FIBA men's world Cup. Loyalty and stats should be the benchmark when assembling his squad. NO need to depend on NBA players if they are not good enough or are on the bench of their clubs. Cheers.

...Guinea has been good so far....they have a balanced team, a really good guard and inside presence, yes we can do it, but first, we have to reduce the turn overs, we did turn over the ball a lot yesterday, do not know what the stats for that is, but the eye test says it is a lot...also we need to prevent a lot of second chance opportunities, then we need to reduce our fouls, those Tunisians got to the line a lot...

.........that would be dumb if the n.b.b.f allows that to happen again, although, we would need to strengthen the team to the world cup, however, there must also be a balance, so that we do not have a repeat.

Fizdale revealed that he had been receiving text messages from NBA players from the day he was unveiled as Dtigers and Nigeria's Coach. My question is - What are the stats of those NBA players messaging him 🙏? We don't want players who want to use the World Cup and Olympic Games to fall back into reckoning 😲. If you want to make the squads to the FIBA World Cup and the Olympics in 2028, you must play for Nigeria in the qualifiers. Simple as ABC. Except you are exceptional and playing regularly for your NBA Club. Fizdale said half of the guys flying Nigeria's colours in the current qualifiers in Angola are good enough to make his World Cup roster 😎.

Noted, bro. I hope Coach Fizdale will work on the lapses recorded against the Tunisian squad yesterday. I have this feeling that Dtigers will prevail today against Guinea. There is a new spirit in the team. What we should just guard against is overconfidence.

This is why I said if you don't come and play the qualifiers, you should not be given a shirt on the final roster to the Olympics. You can only be considered for a shirt at the World Cup or Olympics 2028 if you are really exceptional at your club and your stats are great. Congrats, Dtigers. Congrats Nigeria. To be honest, we should win against Rwanda. I believe Dtigers will win the next game against Rwanda. I have been checking on some of our NBA players to see how they are faring. A good number of them that featured for Nigeria under Coach Mike Brown are not in the NBA again or are on the bench most of the time 😲😲. Fizdale and his assistants have a lot of scouting to do to discover younger and better players.
