Bmaster:LOL that's to tell you the kidnapping and banditary have government hands all over it.... They government knows what to do but won't do it for whatever reason know to them... US knows this... Since Nigeria is a sovereign state they can only do what the government approve.... They only came cos of the ISIS movement and they have dealt with it..... Any other thing is left for our government |

Curious345:Once Uncle Sam has identified the shadowy sponsors of Islamist terrorism lurking among the ranks of government officials, annihilating such vermin with surgically precise drone strikes, under what could be called The Somalia Doctrine, would be a routine culling exercise that might be selected in the event that Nigerian authorities display any hint of reluctance in administering final justice on such squalid characters. |

We thank America for collaborating with our military in the fight against terrorism, though some northern Muslims are not happy about it,and this could responsible for the limited impact the operation has had on terrorism and banditry in the country. |

They withdrew their troops deployed to the lake Chad area is not the same as they have withdrawn their troops from Nigeria. So called educated Nigerians must learn to read and understand. Having established some sort of presence in Nigeria those perpetual war mongers are never leaving. |

Mattswaggz:Their prime target was ISIS (ISWAP) and that is evident in all their strikes and results. They needed the Nigerian terrain for intelligence gathering and snipping. US knows it's a waiste of time conniving with Nigerian FG with regards to fighting Fulani bandits and Boko Haram becoz more than 50% of FG and the Nigerian Army have been infiltrated. |

Lol You really think the United States army landed in Nigeria to keep peace or safeguard our lives and properties? Hahahahaha Haven't you ever wondered you're likely to find insecurity in any country that is heavily rich in natural resources, especially if that country is in Africa ![]() https://www.nairaland.com/8554164/united-states-interested-nigerias-oil |

What exactly was the mission? ... and what did they achieve? The US has no history of success in defeating or suppressing these groups ... but instead expands them. After going after the Taliban for 20 days years with full force ... what happened?..…. Afghanistan production of heroin increased tremendously during these years. Now one of the terrorist leaders had been handpicked by the US to be the President of Syria. Would one of these ISIS leaders be appointed a seat in Abuja? The US always has an agenda that serves itself rather than the host country. |

demstone:Whatever the reason the government are complicit whichever administration you are referring to I am not a fan of any.... How can you believe they are innocent when ragtags terrorist can't be tracked and killed... Do you know the might of FEDERAL GOVERNMENT in any country..... Same government that can pickup anyone who post fake news, insult or threaten any influential person is finding it difficult to track people causing mayhem.... Does it make sense to you? |

US. Always looking out for themselves. I knew their agenda was not to support us in counter terrorism but to eliminate their own target. Aftersll, a target at the US is a target for all? (they made us believe that) |
