My favorite ooo. The great...

I share the sentiment below,

"Today i dont watch wrestling anymore because the entertainment part has taken the fun out of it and I just cant relate with the watered down wrestlers of today."

Happy 69th Birthday to Bret Hart!

Bret Hart is a Canadian retired professional wrestler best known as one of the greatest technical wrestlers in the history of the sport. Nicknamed "The Hitman," he rose to international fame through his career in professional wrestling, earning acclaim for his in-ring skill, storytelling, and championship success.

His notable achievements include multiple world championship reigns in both the World Wrestling Federation (now WWE) and World Championship Wrestling. He is also known for legendary rivalries and matches against stars such as Shawn Michaels, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Undertaker, and Owen Hart. Hart has been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame twice—individually and as a member of the Hart Foundation.

This man made our childhood fun!
Happy birthday legend

This reminds me of great wrestlers in the likes of Ahmed Johnson, Goldust, Jake the snake, mankind, ultimate warrior, kane, macho man, Owen hart, Chris benoit.

Oga, you don tey o
The only two I remembered vaguely were Mighty Igor and Mascara, and it's because the grown ups always talked about them when there was a wrestling matches.I don't know what's going on then,I only saw grown-ups beating and slamming themselves on the ground.
I think it was WWF that time not WWE.
I was very young then, like 4 or 5 years.

It's self acclaimed o! That one remains to be seen. On the entertainment side, I'd rather watch Lesnar, Taker, Bulldog, Sean Michaels, Hogan or Warrior. And on the technical side there's Kurt angle to contend with in that regard. Kurt is way over him. Him and Lesnar.

Shawn Michaels and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin were his main rivals.

The best there was, the best there is, and the best there will ever be. Our childhood was defined by wrestlers like this man including Terry Hulk Hogan, Shawn the heart break kid Michaels, The Undertaker, Diesel, Razor Ramon and the rest of them greats.
Today i dont watch wrestling anymore because the entertainment part has taken the fun out of it and I just cant relate with the watered down wrestlers of today.

The Attitude era was the pinnacle of wrestling.
Thanks.

For hours, one could be glued to the TV set watching them, including others like

Ultimate warrior, Undertaker, Yokozuna, British Bulldog, etc.

Don't know why I lost interest altogether.

Fathers always knows best afterall. The way I used to look at my father then when we were all emotionally charged and he would just walk into the sitting room and say "oh all na trick and just like acting drama". My mum too was not helping matters in us believing him (she was the most emotional among us, and the anger when the 'bad guys' win)

The time I finally got to know that my father had been right all along was the end of wrestling for me. Fathers always knows best. Rest on dear father.

This guy gave me joy back in the day... I can't forget the iconic yelling by JR on pay per view Saturday WWF matches in the early 90's: "Bret Hart with the sharpshooter on Bam Bam Bigelow!!!"

Happy birthday Legend!
