The Ogun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has commenced registration for the 2027 Hajj exercise and called on intending pilgrims to begin preparations for the pilgrimage.

Executive Secretary of the Board, Alhaji Taiwo Ajibola, made the announcement while speaking with journalists at the Board's office in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.

He said prospective pilgrims are required to make an initial deposit of eight million naira, pending the official Hajj fare to be announced by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria.

Alhaji Ajibola urged interested applicants to complete their payments early to secure a place for the pilgrimage, noting that the registration exercise is expected to close on or before September 2026.

He advised intending pilgrims to visit the Ogun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board at the New Secretariat, Block B, Governor's Office, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, or contact the Board through its official telephone lines for further enquiries.

We are able to perfectly manage religious subsidy that favours the elites/corrupt but not the subsidies that benefit the productive and poor ones.
Power subsidy - impossible
Petrol subsidy - unpossible
Health subsidy - impossicant.
