KORU is a 3X leverage, and it can't be held for the long term. I'm not into KORU; however, I have to track it as my ETF moves in the same direction as KORU. Taking profit is not a good option for me, as the foreign market can not be predicted. I intend to hold on for years to come. KOSPI, which is the main boss of tech stocks, has been fluctuating for two weeks, and today it went up 5.76% in the market, and my ETF is also up. If I were trading leverage stocks or ETFs, I would be taking profit everyday. Furthermore, my DCA has been buying a lot of units, which has also made my portfolio a 1-2X leverage. Lastly, one can't predict the foreign market either in a bear or bull season; you can buy today, and tomorrow it drops rapidly. Anyway, thanks for your advice.
No wahala Chief, I note all your points and see where you coming from.

More profitable trades sir.

Where is aradel going if I can ask
No price prediction as no one can precisely predict but numbers behind the maths suggests Aradel still has some weight to shed.
Re: Equity Investment. by CSblackpink(m): 9:08am On Jul 03
I understand your concern, bro. KORU does like +30-40% sometimes in a single day. Last week, one of my ETFs was 6% up in the market, and suddenly Apple announced that they would hike up their smartphones; immediately all the tech stocks started going down and down and down. Since that day, I handed everything over to God.

it does so, that's because it's leveraged now. The only bad sides are:

Daily resetting can reduce performance in choppy markets.

Losses are magnified.

It can significantly underperform what you might expect from simply taking 3× the index's total long-term return.

KORU can be appropriate for short-term swing trades lasting a few days or, in some cases, a few weeks.

This is you basically trading crypto futures, that was why I was even more worried for you.

Apple raising prices — I haven't really dug in deep to dig out my facts but in the news, it stated that companies building AI data centers—such as those developing large AI models—are buying enormous quantities of
DRAM (memory chips) and NAND flash (storage chips).

Hence, the cost of memory (RAM) and storage chips has risen sharply.

That news didn't cause Tech sell off, it only accelerated it because stocks like Microns, Sandisk etc has been doing some great numbers and profit taking is only normal. If retailers won't take profit, Smart investors will take profit, that's what is going on.
Re: Equity Investment. by CSblackpink(m): 9:35am On Jul 03
I can't trade KORU; it's not my thing. However, FLXK, Intel, and Taiwan stocks are doing well for me, and they were 100% to 200% up before the pullback. The pullback is necessary, as I would be happy to make gains when it goes back up again. I've seen some crazy gains from the market. (1m-5m in a single day with 12M+ as the capital)

Man, that's a good one. But bro be very cautious oooooooo. Those gains are expected seeing that they in Tech, Semi conductor, AI, Software Infrastructure but I still maintain that the market is about to take a rest, before another rally.

Sometimes gains isn't all there is to it oooooo, capital preservation matter. The Tech sector won't crash but most of the stocks in the sector are about to take a rest. Anyways good thing you love to average down.

Nice one boss

Never knew they don't pay
I thought all fund managers normally pay dividend for equity which is reinvested back into one's portfolio.

That means they reinvest dividends from the individual stocks in their basket back to equity portfolio.

Now I see why their percentage increase was high early in H1...

Nah...

No matter how big it is, it can't be more than 15% of the total stocks in their basket. So others, at 75%, is enough to make everywhere soft tonight. And do not forget, mtn is also 4.17% up already. Do the math wink

Investnaija dividend is here.

It is way smaller than UC.

N/B: NAV must be put into consideration.

Is this paramount dividend reinvested or deposited into wallet.

Nice, bro. The Asian market ended in the greens today; the US market will open in huge greens on Monday.

It depends on the order you gave them initially. It can be any of the two and you'll notice an additional amount when it lands next week.

Today is a public holiday in the US. And aftermarket is getting greener gradually. So Monday will be great hopefully.

This is for CS. Check the security weighting.

See Airtel sitting at 10.58%

Seen. The columns on security weighting and weekly change for Airtel and MTN reveals previous positions were not up to 10% b4.

The portfolio realignment is for a reason. My guess for mtn is that this stock is strongly believed by CS as a comfortable 1k stock. Imagine now at 700, they would easily readjust for capital gains

What do you mean by this?

Just stop assuming things in your mind. Ask questions if you don't know. You're now sounding weird.
