I couldn't even finish the trailer. Robert Eggers dances around the same Gothic horror script each year and throws in William Dafoe in there for some reason.

Make e try dey rest 😩😩

I remember telling abdul1 it would get to a billion and he said it's impossible 😂
I never said it's impossible. I said it's unlikely.
Movies that came after it underperformed and the heavy hitters were well spaced between it.

Nice film tho.

Seeing Willem Dafoe sef wan make am dey taya me especially when the vibe is looking very much like The Lighthouse especially with that Black and White or desaturated colour and that painful boxy aspect ratio. 🙄

I basically shuttle between Pahe and Psarips these days, google them, but they can be a pain to use because of ads, you click one thing, then apparently, there is a lady in your neighbourhood ready to sleep with you tonight! 😩😩, you can get an adblocker but it's still a pain to use.
If you know your way around Telegram, then this is your best hassle free method as most of the files from those site i mentioned, are hosted there and you only just need one click to download them.
Lmao just went through this thing few minutes ago trying to navigate my way past them to get my hands on HOTD S3 episode 2.

These pages na premium tears.

Obsession is a solid 5/10 for me
Well, it's really nothing special though, not even scary at all but it's still a nice watch.
Loved how the female lead played her role so good which is probably why i am giving the movie a 5 rating.

Anyways be careful what you wish for.

Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by OhBritannia(m): 3:22am On Jul 02
Marama is a solid 8/10 for me.
A horror slow burner but Totally entertaining, i am impressed with the mystery surrounding the storyline and her family.
A carefully built concept with extra casts that added flavour to the movie.

The birthday scene where she started speaking angrily in her native language because the man demeaned her ancestors will go down as one of movie's historical scenes.
I had to rewind and play that scene over and over again multiple times.
I was so impressed mehn!!!

This is one thing great movie and series makers understands.
Including scenes that will stay with viewers for a Very long time.

Anyways moving forward, the revelation and then the gore in the end summed up why this movie is a great watch.

Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by OhBritannia(m): 3:36am On Jul 02
Hungry is a solid 5/10 for me.
Not bad at all, a good watch but not a great watch.
I would have loved if they had kept the friend of the only survival and gave her longer screen time.
She was already my favourite before they quickly killed her off.

Anyways the end part makes no sense at all.
The same animal that kills when anything encroaches his surroundings will now stand and watch you while you stand close to his of her baby. Lol
Rubbish scene there.

Deep water is a solid 7/10 for me.
Of all shark movies released in the past 5 years, i will say i enjoyed this one the most because of it's broader and mature concept.
Great casts, great conversations, nice graphics and pictures and nothing out of the ordinary, they didn't try to add any unrealistic scene.

Loved how they didn't just dwell on the shark but got to explore friendship, family and romance.
I totally recommend this.

Masters of The Universe.

They tried too hard to be funny, but it fell off and sounded like they are just making utter fools of themselves.

Movie: Obsession (2026)
Genre: Horror, Psychological Thriller
Rating: 9.4/10 🔵

Well, be careful who you wish for...

Suspense. Doubt. Fear. Love. Uncertainty. Gore.

I don't even know where to start this review from 😂
First of all, this movie was worth all the time. This is one of the best horror films I've ever seen and the only mistake the producers made was not making it a bit longer.

I watched Inde Navarrette in Superman & Lois and I never had the slightest idea that she could ever be as unhinged as this in any movie role, in any universe. She has to win an Oscar award! She needs to! This was a generational performance from her. She kept giving Mia Goth's unhinged vibe from Pearl (2022) and she perfectly switched from crazy, to calm, to sad, to scary effortlessly and that made her even more scary!

The musical elements of the movie were top tier, giving the movie the perfect suspense and uncertainty, the cinematography and the whole setting were gold. For a movie made with a budget of €750k, this is generational and changes the whole notion that only big budget movies can be successful! Obsession made $373m! A movie made by a YouTuber! Life-changing stuff!

I am super recommending this movie if you've not seen it. For real! It's a banger.

I never too master telegram download pages. Last time I try am sef I no really enjoy the speeds. And those weird saves to phone having multiple download path for same downloads dey taya me. The hassle of downloading and saving to phone, consuming more phone space. 😩

Hmmm

In windows I used Firefox with ublock origin or adguard for pc

If you have small paper buy an ad guard license via stacksocial during a holiday sale.

You can buy four lifetime licenses or nine. There are pc and android versions and they will kill 99% of ads.

Then install the violent monkey addon for Firefox or Chrome or edge. There is a script that does click through for psa. It's kind of hit or miss but basically it clicks through to the finak download link when it works

You can also install noscript which will block most webpage scripts from running. You must know what you are doing because security is always tedious and slows things down

On phone but will try to post more later.

Also If you get a rapidgator subscription, (unfortunately it is now I think 24k for 6 months via Google play store - maybe less via apple, you can find psa, megusta and other links on warez sites such as s a n e t / s o f t archive. Most but not all psa links are posted there.

If you have a torrent client you can search up psa links using bgr search
Boss....I used to have quite a good number of extensions on Chrome that was able to skip ads and block pop ups, but i don't actively download on PC anymore, because I switched to SSD with a lower base storage.

So most of my downloads happens on Mobile. I actually have a paid adguard but Pahe's system detects it and insists i put it off before proceeding 😩, i even have dns level ad blocker, but no way.

So i am mainly just a Telegram guy now, i have a PSA bot, and they have even up to 4K quality, and i have a Google drive bot to convert the telegram links to a stable google drive link.

Since TorrentGalaxy original URL went bust, i haven't actually used torrenting in a long while, except i am looking for rare releases, funny enough, if i see a torrent i want, there is a telegram bot still, that converts .torrent or magnetic links to Google drive links

Telegram maaan, what an app! 👍🏿

The beauty of telegram is that, you get bot for almost everything. So no need to download directly, you fit forward the telegram file, to a file link bot, copy the link and paste in IDM or other downloader you use..

I swear, if you get the hang of Telegram, your suffer for Pahe and the likes hand don end 🥳

Ghost in the Shell (1995) 9/10

Rewatching this and then the sequel, Innocence, next week in preparation for Science Saru's take on the GitS franchise this month.

This is still one of the most amazing anime made after 30 years. Not just the story, but the art and animation still hold up after 3 decades.

GitS' major theme revolves around identity. Who are you when your memories are altered, modified or erased?
As we advance in the AI era and a lot of people spend more time online than offline, these questions become even more relevant than they were 3 decades ago. How do we process information when it becomes increasingly difficult to tell what's real or fake anymore?

I don't think I appreciated the music in this movie properly the first time I watched it but on this rewatch, I can't help but appreciate Kenji Kawai's marvelous work in the studio. The haunting score lends itself in enhancing the eerie atmosphere the movie is going for and I absolutely love it.

Masamune Shirow cooked with this take on the cyberpunk genre and it has not only continued to inspire other stories but has somehow managed to grow in relevance with time.

Moving on to Innocence this weekend.

P.S: Another fun aspect about watching old movies about the future is when their future timeline is your present. We're 3 years away from 2029 in which this movie is set and it's a bit amusing to compare what people thought the future would look like in 2029 with our present.

Very, very inferior. The Scar-Jo one is one of those live-action adaptations that do a disservice to their source material.
