Gbaja should have been suspended long ago and handed over to the authorities for investigation but here we are. Nigerian government is always quick to hold Nigerians to world standards but hold themselves to 5th world standards. Tinubu just surrounded himself with criminals. Little doubt he himself is one |

It is not enough to accuse anybody of wrongdoing; allegations must always be backed with credible evidence. In a society governed by fairness and justice, accusations alone should not be treated as proof of guilt. Every individual deserves the opportunity to respond, and every allegation must go through proper investigation before conclusions are made. However, we must also recognise that this is a period where many allegations concerning the Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, may begin to surface—some may be valid, while others may be false or politically motivated. In situations like this, there is always the possibility that several unrelated or weak allegations could emerge, intentionally or unintentionally distracting the public from the major issues that require serious attention. In fact, one concern is that a flood of questionable accusations can sometimes have the effect of weakening genuine concerns. When false allegations are mixed with legitimate ones, it creates confusion and gives room for people to dismiss everything as mere political attacks. That is why Nigerians must be careful to separate rumours from issues that require proper institutional investigation. We should not lose focus on the allegations raised by Adeniyi. The important question remains: has there been a transparent process to investigate the claims and provide Nigerians with clear answers? Public trust is not restored by silence or denial alone; it is restored through openness, accountability, and due process. This is why the call on the Presidency is not necessarily about declaring anyone guilty without evidence. Rather, it is about doing what is morally and institutionally appropriate. When serious allegations surround a high-ranking government official, especially someone occupying an office as sensitive as the Chief of Staff to the President, the government must act in a way that protects the integrity of that office. A temporary suspension to allow for an independent investigation should not be viewed as punishment; it should be seen as a commitment to transparency. It sends a message that public institutions are bigger than individuals and that accountability applies to everyone, regardless of their closeness to power. The Presidency has an opportunity to restore some level of public confidence and demonstrate a modicum of moral responsibility. Nigerians are not asking for a media trial; they are asking for a system where allegations are investigated properly, truth is established, and those entrusted with public office are held to the highest standards. |

An independent investigative panel should be set up to investigate all these allegations flying up and down and anyone found wanting should face the law accordingly. |

There is no smoke without Fire....Gbaja is definitely running a parallel governement right under the nose of Tinubu. What Nigerians are not sure of, is the president also involved in this bribery cases ? A Call to President Tinubu: Sanitize Your Kitchen Cabinet Now Mr. President,Nigeria has reached a dangerous low where an individual can open a fake presidential office, print letterheads, hold meetings, and collect millions from desperate citizens in the name of your government, and the EFCC and DSS have done nothing. What a country. The videos, documents, and evidence emerging around Gbaja-Gate cannot be ignored or swept under the rug. Prince Adeyemi has laid out a damning trail: letterheaded papers, recorded meetings, cash exchanges, and an intermediary who mysteriously died. These point to collusion, bribery, and the alleged operation of a de facto parallel government right under your nose. Whether you are directly involved or not, the optics are devastating. The only way to prove your innocence and restore public trust is to act decisively. Femi Gbajabiamila must be suspended immediately and made to walk the plank. A credible, party-neutral investigator, someone with unimpeachable integrity, should be appointed without delay to probe this scandal thoroughly. For all we know, multiple fake agencies and rackets are operating within your administration, hijacking policies and diverting funds meant for the people. If those closest to you are busy sharing millions and billions into private pockets, how can we trust that funds allocated for insecurity, infrastructure, or welfare are not being looted the same way? This explains why government policies never seem to reach the common man the leakages are happening at the very top.Mr. President, a thorough overhaul of your kitchen cabinet is no longer optional. It is urgent. Nigerians are watching. Act with the ruthlessness this moment demands, or history will record that the rot started, and was tolerated, on your watch. The time for half-measures is over. |

There has been too many controversies around cash-for-appointment against the Chief of Staff for all these to be random. It's suspicious that the president continues to cover for him. Even Elrufai had earlier said some ministerial nominees paid in order to be appointed. One can easily tell considering how individuals like Maryam Shetti, content creator, made the initial ministerial list in a state like Kano. At this point, Nigerians need to cast a searchlight on what transpired in his days as Speaker of the House of Representatives. |
