It takes an extreme level of self-belief and motivation to play like the Verdans towards the end of the game. On paper and in-play, the Argentines were superior. It's evident in how they took the lead thrice during the game. But on a mental basis, the Cape Verdans had the edge. The self-belief was way too much. At a time, I began to wonder if I was actually watching Argentina v Cape Verde abi Argentina v France. Argentina won at last, but the Island nation is getting all the praises. There are serious life lessons to learn in that match.
