Ibime:Yeah, that Quinones guy is Saudi league's highest goalscorer with 33 goals from 31 league appearances. He's been outstanding for Mexico and will most likely score more if England dull themselves. Jimenez may be a static player, but he won't hesitate to convert any half decent chance that presents itself. I see the whole altitude excuse as an acknowledgement of fear even before the match proper. The moment the host nations were made known years ago, every team ought to know they would definitely play in such temperate condition if they plan to lift thr world cup. Let the English team face their fear and quit nagging about what cannot be changed abeg. |

The Azteca is not La Paz so I don't get the altitude angle. It's high but England should be relatively ok. Heard they were allowed to take Viagra for this game. If it was Bolivia then it would have been a different story. England players will faint.

Altitude or no altitude England will beat Mexico. It will be like the initial gragra Canada did yesterday before Morocco humbled them. |

If Morocco get past France, I think they will go on to win the World Cup. This is the first time an African nation has looked genuinely capable of going all the way. Man to man we actually have better players than them, all we need is a world class coach. |

Ellexy:Yes, the same Argentina fans! Stop allowing your fandom for Messi becloud your sense of rational reasoning. I am glad you did not deny the theatrics and dirty plays against France in the Finals. It is on and off the pitch! It did not start today. Receipt full ground if you want even go down memory lane. https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/video-argentine-fans-disrespect-cape-104500824.html |

BlueRayDick:The altitude issue is not a mere excuse but a biological fact. The highest stadium for an EPL club (or ex-EPL club) in England is 168m above sea level. The Azteca stadium is 2.2km above sea level. That is about 2km higher up in the air and about 20% less oxygen per breath. They are undefeated in 10 World Cup matches in that stadium for a reason. England’s players are better by far but if they phuck around in that physical and emotional atmosphere they will find out. |

patrickmuf: ![]() The reality is that something must lead to something no matter what. Not too long ago, Argentina players were filmed singing offensive chant on the team bus directed at the French players. Enzo was the most visible in that video. Messi was not even in the bus..but Guess what... People left the main culprits including Enzo Fernandez and started attacking Messi. People said Messi don commit despite the fact that he wasn't there. When it was confirmed that Messi wasn't on that bus, people insisted he was there say media covered him up. Some said even if he wasn't there say he should've cautioned them during the act. May be through Bluetooth. The whole convo then moved from those who actually sang that song to Messi himself. It was an incredibly level of salt, and I like salt ![]()

Neymar1095:Viagra lol! Mexico city is over 2 kilometers above sea level though, so altitude will definitely be an issue for sea-level Briticos. Bolivia's own is just goated. Messi dey vomit anyhow then when he wasn't used to it. |

ThierryJay:Argentina, just like all South American teams, are guilty of dark arts and would not hesitate to deploy those disgusting tactics. There is enough evidence to that effect and it is independent of your feelings and emotions. They didnt stop at provocation. Certain players went further to pollute it with discriminatory bile and racism. CONMEBOL football runs on weaponised chaos. The dark arts aren’t a tactic, they’re the operating system and Argentina, with their antecedents, have played a pivotal role both locally and globally. They are a disgrace!

AirBere:It's the agenda conduits doing their Lord's work. I remember Messi told his teammates esp Dibu to stop trolling Mbappe during celebrations. It almost like a mindless zombie-like control epidemic now. Everything happening elsewhere is somehow redirected to Messi. Paraguay played haram football? Project and crucify Argentina and Messi for it. No refereeing error vs Cape Verde? cook rigging allegations from a legitimate free kick. Cape Verde player accused of rape? It's Messi pulling the strings. He is that Ubiquitous ![]() It's quite funny that they are moving away from the actual football to irrelevancies to deal with their eternal pain. They just can't deal. |

ThierryJay: ![]() On a serious note, I actually do enjoy seeing their salt especially when Messi hang ball for where no good. Nothing concern me with Argentina sha. na Messi fan I be. Once he retires, they can get grouped. |

Stop projecting your insecurities. No one has said anything about Messi personally. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Ellexy: 2:25pm On Jul 05 |
Roland17:You people are dishonest. I showed you video evidences of thousands of the same Argentina fans applauding the Cape Verde players and celebrating with their fans after the game but you ignored it and looked for a bad example to justify your position. By that logic every country is racist because they have bellends among their supporters and if that's what you're looking for you will find it among any country. But since is Argentina, let's brand them all racist and bad. If stanship is beclouding anyone's reasoning here, it's definitely not mine. By the way this was the same Speed in Argentina celebrating his birthday and racist Argentines singing happy birthday to him.

AirBere: Your head dey there.I actually started supporting Argentina from USA 94 based on the Maradona hype and I've stuck with them ever since from icons Batigol, Ortega, Aimar, Riquelme to Messi. Argentina have always been capable of the dirty plays but this aspect usually only rears up against fellow aggressive South Americans. They were typically dirty during Maradona's time because he embraced that style with his flair as well. But Messi's style is much purer, and with this current team, only in the Copas would you find them playing like Paraguay yesterday and that would be against Brazil. Never against Europeans. |
