Why are you comparing Germany to US, Colombia n Mexico

Germany is always in the category of teams tipped to win every tournament. A qf fimish is not the standard. The likes of Mexico et al might see that as an achievement

2014 squad was star studded, may be you knew so little about them
Bro, they were stars in their time and season... Today's players are stars in their time.

Abi you no longer know the definition of the term?!!

Going by your words, only France has a studded team in this world cup.

Maybe you will come and also tell us that Portugal is not as star-studded as Morocco, since the latter is playing far better than they are.

Maybe Belgium has never had stars too... Tell us that England struggled badly against Ghana and DR Congo because Tuchel has no materials to work with.

See ehn... Stars are born and discovered daily. Let's stop making excuses for poor coaching abeg.

haverts is not top material

VinnyBaba:
Let's see if he will persist with Havertz as the team's Main striker. smiley

I know Jurgen Klopp and his Firebrand football, he will not allow Havertz to lead his forward line.

A team that wants to Compete for Top honours cannot be having Havertz as Main striker. undecided

Only Average coaches like Arteta and Thomas Tuchel thinks Otherwise. sad

He's older than Dangote and Mike Adenuga? He's older than Sir Alex. Certainly, Klopp has lost so much weight. There was even a rumor that he had ca^^cer
Even Dangote is now frail, compared to 2-3 years ago . You may have a point though.

Lolz ..you dont know what you are talking about

Check the attackers clubsides and records coming into the competition

Midfield: Sami Khedira (Real Madrid), Toni Kroos (Bayern Munich), Thomas Muller (Bayern Munich), Mesut Ozil (Arsenal), Andre Schurrle (Chelsea), Bastian Schweinsteiger (Bayern Munich).

Forwards: Miroslav Klose (Lazio), Lukas Podolski (Arsenal).

You are going in circles...!

Based on your logic, Morocco shouldn't be heading strongly into another Quarter finals. How many names do you recognize in that squad?

How star-studded is this current Spanish squad?!!

Let's even agree that Julian was never going to win the trophy with that squad, at least not with the forms of France, England and Argentina... What stopped them from playing good football at least?!!

Germany was pathetic! The unserious teams in their group stage helped them qualify.

So, why do you keep excusing Julian?!! Then, we can also say Super Eagles failed miserably in the last 8 years because there are no stars, which is a miserable lie.

I concur that the current German side falls short of the 2014 winners, but which current team in this tournament has far better players than their former generation of stars?! Is it France? England? Brazil?

Is there any way this current generation of footballers compare to the past Golden generation?!! Go from Madrid, Man United, Chelsea, Barcelona, Arsenal, even Chelsea...!

Morocco reached the last 4 in the last WC, ranked 8 before this competition and presently ranked 6th

That 2014 german squad you called nobody were full of experience from 2010 WC that beat Eng 4-1 n finished last 4

These names never won them a World Cup trophy.
But they got to 2002 Final and lost to Brazil. That German set was even an average one. Ballack their captain and best player could not play in the final match.
Kahn made a rare silly mistake to let the first goal in during the loss to Brazil.

The current Indomie players are not rugged.

I watched Lothar Mathaeus, Thomas Haessler, Rudi Voeller, Andreas Brehme, Koepke, Thomas Strunz, Andreas Moeller, Mathias Sammer, and those rugged ones play. They were even more immense watching them live than on TV.

You can't just single out havertz as the problem here, man contributed 3 goals in the world cup.And again which CF is supposed to start ahead of havertz in the German set up right now?
Nick Woltemande of Newcastle united. smiley

Havertz is too slow for Jurgen Klopp football and is not a good material for a Top side. sad

Arteta trying to use him as Arsenal main striker shows the type of coach he is. undecided

Liverpool is worse than this German national team when he took over, the fear of kloop is the beginning of bla bla bla
Not saying he wouldn't do well but Liverpool is a club(you can build and recruit to your taste) while Germany is a national team(you can only work with what you see/what is available atm) so don't compare them.

If you hate havertz just admit it but saying woltemade is an upgrade of havertz is what I can't agree and very laughable? Woltemade that is not even a guaranteed starter at Newcastle. Bro it's not havertz fault he is currently the best option as CF for Germany right now.
Re: Jurgen Klopp Is Germany's New Head Coach by Usmanovic95(m): 5:46pm On Jul 05
These coaches are bored of club football that they want to venture into managing national teams. I won't be surprised to see guardiola accept a national team job after the world cup. He has won it all in club football at a young age, so the next call might be the national team job.

Haha…I know right. But it feels that way.

In 1994, Nigeria lost a world cup game against Argentina, 2-1 if I recall correctly. Diego Maradona was rampant in that match. Apparently the failed a drug test after the game, and I could see a lot of similarities with the way some players on Paraguay’s team conducted themselves.

Samson Siasia’s goal in that Nigeria vs. Argentina game was epic though!
South American football is very different...... they play very physical and dirty.

It's a wish bro.
Nothing on earth can make it come to pass.
How much are u going to pay pep?
Where will pep live?

U don't know coaching national team as just as being on sabbatical leave?
No activities, no stress, touchline dramas.

That can never happen

He should look for raw talent and stop inviting those overrated players. Germany has been shambles in the last few years.

I will tell if klop will succeed after the first tournament. Especially with player selection and response

I also see Pep shifting to national team football.
Soon d drama and attention will be shifted to international football rather than club football.
It'll definitely be the Spanish national team.
I thought about it though.

Rooney, Nasri, Ronaldo, Eden Hazard blew, people called them all sorts of names.
This guy decided to pay attention to his health, still wahala.

Re: Jurgen Klopp Is Germany's New Head Coach by Lush100(m): 4:22am On Jul 06
While I applaud the appointment.
I'm a bit skeptical.
Because the kind of loops style of play need materials and regular training.
Which is usually done at club level. National team football is another thing entirely.
