Thenext:Have you done any waterproofing on the deck/slab?? Felt or Acrylic Membrane?? |
| Re: General Topic Thread-To Discuss Anything And Everything in Building Construction by gbadexy(m): 6:30pm On Jul 05 |
Thenext:What's above the decking. The solution is first of all identifying the source and stopping it and application of undercoat, then repaint. |

| Re: General Topic Thread-To Discuss Anything And Everything in Building Construction by diordaves(m): 8:23pm On Jul 05 |
Thenext:Did you bury the toilet soil pipe or pipe network in the decking or wall in the design stage of the building? I guess a pipe might be leaking possibly buried in the decking. Check the toilet above. If you're still in contact the plumber, call them and ask the pipe network plan if any pipe was buried in the decking or walls. The water is not coming from the roof as the duplex is completed. The water is coming somewhere from the pipe network. I'm not a fan of burying pipes in German floor, decking or even walls. The problem no be here if pipe burst. |
| Re: General Topic Thread-To Discuss Anything And Everything in Building Construction by gbadexy(m): 9:19pm On Jul 05 |
Thenext:You can use water proof cement for the grouting. Water from the toilet can spread in any direction through the decking. After doing that, you can apply the undercoat on the pop before repainting it. |
| Re: General Topic Thread-To Discuss Anything And Everything in Building Construction by Geekop: 9:28pm On Jul 05 |
Thenext:Initially I thought it's roof slab/deck. Diordaves and Gbadexy are right. Get your plumber to check the plumbing and if the tiles are still intact use waterproof tile grout for the grouts/grids. |
