Mind you, you don't buy Pixels for raw power (gaming), you get Pixels for their smartness (arguably the smartest phone around), timely software updates, exclusive features (now playing, speech to text etc) and of course Pixel UI

This ain't it. Rooting is practically dead in 2026 (good luck unlocking your bootloader. With Shizuku and ADB, you get most of root features without the possibility of bricking your phone or even certain apps not passing safety net (Bank apps). The risk versus rewards you get with rooting in 2026 are not worth it.

Also, the best phone to get if you're a modder is a Pixel (bootloader is extremely easy to unlock plus active community for custom ROMs)

I've used both phones extensively and I always come back to my Pixel. Hardware wise, Samsung is better but for software, there's just something about Pixel UI.

As with bloatwares, yes there are redundant apps on Samsung phones. Samsung Gallery, Samsung browser etc. And then you have Chrome, Google Photo etc.

when its comes to screen resolution and refresh rate @ 120ghz samsung gat it cover @ ease ..i use an ultra,, the pen is one fun for kids even me i playfully sketch , i can minimize one pplication on another opened app, i can divide screen. i die for samsung

This isn't an argument on which phone is better or not. It's really about why rooting makes no sense in 2026.

As with phones display, Pixel 10 series are up there (check attached screenshot from DXO MARK. "You can divide screen" that's just split screen multitasking and most android OEMs have that.

You can't go wrong with both phones even though there's nothing like the "perfect smartphone". Heck, even iPhones' customizability is closer to Androids'.
