The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has officially announced the commencement of its 2026 nationwide recruitment exercise, with the online application portal opening on Friday, July 3, 2026. The registration process is 100% free of charge, and the corps has strongly warned all applicants to disregard fraudsters demanding money for placement.
Applications must be completed online within four weeks of the portal opening date.

Available Cadres & Qualifications
Officer Cadre: Requires a Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc.), Bachelor of Arts (BA), Higher National Diploma (HND), or professional certifications in medical and legal fields, plus a completed NYSC discharge certificate. Age limit is typically between 18 and 35 years.

Marshal Inspectorate Cadre: Requires a National Certificate in Education (NCE), National Diploma (ND/OND), Registered Nurse/Midwife certificate, or Community Health Extension Worker (CHEW) certificate. Age limit is between 18 and 30 years.

Road Marshal Assistant Cadre: Requires a minimum of 3 to 5 credits in SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB, which must include Mathematics and English depending on the specific subclass.

Drivers, Riders, & Artisans: Tied to the Road Marshal Assistant category; requires a minimum of 4 passes in SSCE, a relevant trade test or professional certificate, and a valid driver's licence for drivers and bikers.

General Eligibility Requirements
must be a Nigerian citizen by birth.
Must be single at the time of application.
Must be medically and physically fit, with a certificate of medical fitness from a government hospital.
Minimum height of 1.65 metres for male applicants and 1.58 metres for female applicants.
Must have a clean record with no criminal convictions or active financial embarrassment.

How to Apply
Visit the official portal at the FRSC Recruitment Website starting July 3, 2026.
Select the specific cadre that matches your educational background and age bracket.
Fill out the application form carefully with your correct personal and academic details.
Upload your required credentials, including your birth certificate, local government identification, and certificates.
Declare all your certificates during this process, as undeclared qualifications will not be accepted for future promotion.
Submit the form and immediately print out the completed application page and acknowledgment slip, as you will need them for the physical screening exercise if shortlisted.
