While growing up here in the SW and even the north central, we used to live with both paternal and maternal uncles and aunties and it’s extremely rare to see them maltreating the children in their care no matter the provocation. We need to stop being politically correct and to start addressing this issue the way it should be addressed. We should be able to condemn this evil and not be called tribalist.
