Many haters will not see this but will make noise when one man that takes advice from a mad man goes to an area that's mapped for construction and take pictures just for political sympathy...... |

MemoriesAndMe:Even with the plant the mineral resources are not fully utilised. If you check the only revenue that will come to the govt and us as a people is tax royalties, in terms of value chain we no follow. |
| Re: Africa’s Biggest Lithium Processing Plant Is Now In Nigeria by Believeintruth: 7:07am On Jul 07 |
JASONjnr:Guy grow up, have you really interrogated what our benefits are? The lithium is being processed for export so we are still in the lower.spectrum of the value chain. If we are in the higher spectrum jobs should have been created to push people out of poverty and provide employment for the restless youths. But alas narrow minded people like you focus on playing subtle attacks on opponents. |

Our government should've mk it the biggest battery processing industry in Africa.... The corruption within us won't allow that just like crude oil refineries |

gigabyte13:The haters are already here, trying to prove they know more than every other persons even than those who initiated the idea and bring it to reality but it's bitterness and hatred that is behind it. |

gabbytabby:We need citizens who would speak the truth and not eye service people. Love for your country and love for the govt are two different things. If you love the country you would speak the truth to power. We need to be in the top of the value chain of mineral resources supply chain. What this plant does is the process the lithium from the Ore for export, we are still making the same mistake with crude oil. If we are at the top of rhe value chain jobs will be created and more people would be lifted out of poverty. |

Believeintruth:Exactly what I expected a hater to quite me with..... You people don't fail at all. You can get a license to process the lithium in Nigeria if you have the means. Exporting lithium which is a powerful mineral resource is another avenue to generate revenue and non-dependant to the crude oil. But to wail is your hobby... |
| Re: Africa’s Biggest Lithium Processing Plant Is Now In Nigeria by Believeintruth: 7:14am On Jul 07 |
JASONjnr:You see you are not clever at all. That processing plant convert the Ore to lithium carbonate which is exported. So we are not in the top of the value chain so the number of jobs this will create is still small. What we can make from being at the top of the lithium supply chain is 6 times more than what we will make from just processing the Ore for export. |

Walezy2020:Can you even define what you mean by restructuring? People just talk and talk, tell them to put it down on paper then they will start to stammer. What do you really mean by that word, you think it's as easy as just dividing thr country. Even parts that you already assume will be part of you will reject it. Then wahala will start on who controls what. |

You took the words out of my mouth, its the capitalist Chinese company, they can evade task, treat the workers like slaves, exploit the system destroy the environments and so on, its not their country so they don't really care and besides we have a government that will turn a blind eyes to them. God helps Us oh. Kukutente23: |

TopBanter:You are so on point with this self-dependent narrative. If they really want to truly advance in terms of entrepreneurial and human resources and development, I will encourage them to invest heavily in formal education and encourage their youths to embrace it, so that the resources they discover can be useful both for their human and regional development as well as infrastructure just like every other developed places. |

MemoriesAndMe:How is it fully utilised if all you do is extract and purify it then send it to China to make batteries which they then bring back to you to buy at higher prices? |
| Re: Africa’s Biggest Lithium Processing Plant Is Now In Nigeria by Kukutente23: 7:34am On Jul 07 |
Samtob90:You don't understand anything You're exporting the raw materials. The raw material is called lithium ore |

gigabyte13:Keep whining your ancestors, the credit should go to Engr Sule the governor of Nasarrawa state alone, before you salivate he was a product of PDP before he was snatch3d. Tinubu has nothing in his diabolic cap to offer Nigerians. |
| Re: Africa’s Biggest Lithium Processing Plant Is Now In Nigeria by Kukutente23: 7:37am On Jul 07 |
gabbytabby:So which of your citizens built the processing plant? In this case, it is far better to stand still until you get the technology to produce lithium batteries Do you know we used to manufacture batteries in Nigeria even up to the 90s? |

manmade:First of all, you're not an enlightened man. Dangote, innoson, proforce actually do manufacture vehicles here in Nigeria Secondly, a refinery is an End-to-End processor for crude oil, which used to be wholly exported from Nigeria to other countries. So your analogy actually negates your reasoning. Dangote built a refinery to stop the exporting of crude. That's exactly the point I was making. Hope you get it now!! |

JealousCobra:Born hater Certified wailer I mention Tinubu for my post.... ![]() ??You are chasing a Man who is chasing his dream. I don talk am before, end time children/adult everywhere . I said and l repeat Nigeria will be great again You shall see it with your own very eyes but , you will not benefit from it. |
| Re: Africa’s Biggest Lithium Processing Plant Is Now In Nigeria by Kukutente23: 7:47am On Jul 07 |
Obaofaba:Nobody is wailing It is you who is drooling We USED to produce batteries And it's not forbidden to start the production which is why I'm calling attention to the fact that an ore processing plant is exploitation. What we should be targeting is battery manufacturing. Same Nigeria rejected Musk's bid to build a lithium processing plant in Nigeria under Buhari instead insisting that he must agree to build a battery manufacturing plant along with it. That's how nations become technically advanced not by turning yourselves to a mining field for the Chinese |

NaijaphiliaBlog:Good. Very good. Still, I'm more concern how this reduces the high cost of cow and other food items, that have skyrocketed, using the Iran vs US/Israel war as an excuse. Even the price of Ugwu, have also increased, and the war is sited as the cause. ![]() |

Flangelo12:I don't know how simple things fly over you guys Ok. Instead of advising me to open a battery factory, why don't you open it. After all you're an APC supporter. Instead of sitting online and looking to talk down on people, why don't you help the govt you so much love by creating jobs? |
