milliondollarma:Yes, you can. So long as one has up to or more than a year continuously. |

Tre20:Your NYSC falls short of a year experience. You have the camp which is 3 weeks and the terminal leave also. You will struggle to demonstrate this. This trap is what plenty of folks have fallen in. You do not have a full year experience as a teacher do not run the risk of misrepresentation and a 5 year ban. |

milliondollarma:Before you go and take on what would lead to the inevitable ADR and/or PFL you need to be cognisant of the path you're treading. 1. NYSC is not equal to a full year's experience, at best it is 10 months experience. She could go back to where she did the NYSC keep working with them in same capacity for nominal pay for 2 more months, she'd be able to demonstrate the full year. 2. If you're claiming you were paid in Cash you'd need the letter of reference and for it to state you were paid in cash, payment slips, evidence of cash deposit of the said cash payment in your bank account, tax returns on the cash salary, Signed payment vouchers from the company's accounting department showing you signed for the receipt of physical cash each month. 3. You cannot package an 8 months internship as a year neither should you seek to do this. The NOC for an 8 months bank IT job isn't the same as a locum pharmacist anyway. Fact is you're trying to package as 3 when the truly one year full-time continuous employment she possesses is the locum pharmacist (if you're able to gather sufficient proof) If you're unable to document this properly you run the risk of rejection maybe even misrepresentation. I'd be really careful if I were you. The road of express entry lengthy bans is riddled with people who seek to 'package' it. You should present the facts as they exist. |

Good evening everyone, has anyone here taken the postgraduate diploma in Business Management with Twim Institute? |

Hi Please concerning POF, is it a must to have the required amount for the whole 6 months prior to the submission of the application for PR? For example, if 20M is required, would I need to have a minimum average balance of 20M for 6 months before submission. Need a bit of clarity on this. Thanks in advance |

Good evening Everyone! I will really appreciate a breakdown of the steps and documents I need to start gathering to get into the pool. Also, I intend doing my Masters with Miva University. Any idea if it will be recognized by WES. Also I have been a social media manager and freelancer generally in the last 3-4 years. What experience do I gather? I have teaching experience but it’s dated far back as 2020. Is that relevant? |

Hi everyone, For those who completed a hospital-based School of Nursing program in Nigeria, which ECA organization gave you the best result—CAS, IQAS, or ICES? WES evaluated my 3-year nursing diploma as not comparable to a completed Canadian educational credential, so I'm looking to try another ECA body. I'd really appreciate hearing your experiences and recommendations. Thanks! |
| Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by Ghaliz: 8:13pm On Jul 03 |
Amaahy:A 3-yr certificate or diploma from the school of Nursing does not equate the Canadian B.Sc, no IRCC-designated ECA evaluating agency would evaluate it as such. IQAS would evaluate it as a 3 year post secondary diploma according to Gemini anyway. |

I did some changes after ita and after some while changed the changes to the original version so, do I need to explain why I changed some words and went back to change it again to the original version for express entry |

sharalliyah:Everything about this process lies in this thread, all you need to do is search, Read page 1 of this thread properly, 90% of it is still relevant. To your question, you don't need the balance to be in your Bank account for 6 months if you use a Gift Deed. Get a Direct Relative Father, mother, brother or sister to send the proof of funds to your account with the description of Gift. Write a Gift Deed document (Examples are on this thread or you can Google it) and visit the nearest Law chamber or Court to Notarize the document. Then make a POF PDF containing 1. An Explanation letter stating that your proof of fund was a Gift from a blood relative 2. The Notarized Gift Deed Document 3. Transfer Receipt from the sender 4. A bank Reference letter. 5. Your statement of account showing current balance. 6. A document to prove the relationship btw you and the said relative, in my case I used the National population birth certificate, that showed that I and my sister have the same parents. If you use your father or mother as the source, provide an ID of the said parent and then your Birth Certificate; the names of Ur parents are written on this certificate. This should also be stated in the Explanation letter. 7. Currency conversion rate if the money is in Naira. I used a screenshot from Oanda website. This is the best strategy to avoid getting an ADR if your proof of funds has no trail. With Gift Deed it eliminates the question about your POF needing to sit in Ur account for 6months. |

| Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by walenden: 9:50pm On Jul 05 |
Amaahy:Sorry for wasting your money on WES, but you should consider using ICES for your Nigerian Diploma in Nursing. Many applicants have had it evaluated as 3 year diploma program equivalent to a Canadian bachelor's degree with IRCC. |
| Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by walenden: 9:54pm On Jul 05 |
MimithankGod:A 6 month Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management from Twinm Institute, Nigeria, via EduQual UK, can get you a Canadian equivalency of a one-year postgraduate diploma through WES, as shown

| Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by walenden: 10:16pm On Jul 05 |
Mclairity1:You're not being open about the actual issue, so it's difficult for anyone to give you an accurate answer. What exactly did you change? Which section of your Express Entry application was it, and did the changes affect your eligibility, CRS score, work history, education, or personal information? Without those details, any answer would just be guesswork. |
| Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by walenden: 10:31pm On Jul 05 |
Ghaliz:ICES evaluates the Nigerian Diploma in Nursing as equivalent to a three-year Canadian advanced diploma. For Express Entry, IRCC allows applicants to select the "Bachelor's degree (three or more year program)" education category for this ECA, which awards the same CRS points as that category.

chimzyblack:Thanks for the réponse to the OPs question. What if its not a gift deed? |
| Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by chimzyblack(m): 7:25am On Jul 07*. Modified: 12:53pm On Jul 07 |
atesunate16:Then your proof of funds must have a trail of how it was accumulated. You can't just deposit a large sum few weeks to your application submission and present it as proof of funds. You will get an ADR asking you to explain the source of your money. Either you take the 6months route( with Trails) or you use the Gift Deed option. |
| Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by PrettyRX: 9:26am On Jul 07 |
Even the 6months route, I've read on reddit where PAs were asked ADR for 1 year statement if salary doesn't correlate. It's better to upload every trail initially like sales of assets, investment or gift. chimzyblack: |
| Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by chimzyblack(m): 12:51pm On Jul 07 |
PrettyRX:Yes, this is a very good point that should be noted by all. If you aren't using the gift option, your 6 months statement must be accompanied by trails of how you accumulated the money, especially in scenarios where your salary doesn't match the Balance. |

Hi everyone Good morning Please I have a question. Is it possible to use my own registered business to claim work experience for Express Entry? I was actively running my business online while I was still in university, and I have about one year of post-graduation work experience. I’m trying to increase my CRS score, so I was wondering if I can use my business experience to claim an additional two years of work experience. I spoke to an travel agency, and they told me that self employed work experience cannot be used. I’m a bit confused because I’ve seen different opinions online. |
