That's the major problem about us, we will never take responsibility for our stupid actions but always blame others for it.
I have people close to me like 5 doing this scheme, they knew it's going to crash, but a typical Nigerian mindset is, "before e go happens I for don escape" we always believe we are smarter than everyone or better put "na me carry better grace pass"

I agree with you to certain extent but not totally. The money alot of these gullible folks invest in all these ponzi scheme could have been better utilize to do something productive.And the rich also fall for these scheme as well, I know a lot of rich folks that invested heavily on cbex thinking it was a legit investment. The primary cause of people falling for these schemes is greed and lack of contentment,every other cause is secondary.

As long as people keep chasing shortcuts instead of earning an honest living, scams will never run out of customers. Swindling someone who works hard for a living is no easy task, but those obsessed with free money make the fraudsters' job effortless. Stay away from betting and every other get-rich-quick fantasy. Nothing is free, not even in heaven.

Yes there’s emergency money problems. Everyone gets one at different times in life, a period where you're stuck with no where to turn and you need money to solve a problem.

I had one recently, where I had a screen problem and no immediate cash on me until the month end. I took a loan, guess what, the interest on this loan is now twice the usual rate. I'm still mad about it, I should have waited until then month end, and save myself the high interest rate. Thats why people find other ways of sourcing emergency funds, not necessarily greed.


Not every one with money problems are penniless some, dont have enough at that time to solve the problem. So, finding ways to make up the deficit makes sense

You didn't go and invest in a ponzi expecting free money from them, where were the ponzi going to get double money to give you back?


Yes, that is true! finding legitimate ways like again, borrowing or woking more or asking family members not invest in some ponzi

Who said you should restrict them? Once the accounts for the scheme start getting massive inflow. CBN supposed to have limited the accounts. Get those operating it questioned.

Federal government has consistently said ponzy scheme is not supported by our laws.
