Peace talks or the Hanky Panky that Iran was playing about the negotiations? The war started when Iran was not forthcoming and the peace talks broke down. Even now they have not shown seriousness about any peace.
The part you claim of US attacking Iranian ships during the ceasefire is definitely untrue. US declared and moved their blockade away from the area immediately the initial phase peace deal was signed.
