Was there a final match somewhere that we lost? $1billion FDI is coming in and you're actively dismissing it as nothing at all. What is the difference between this and the activity of witchcraft?
Bros the $1b is not entirely entering Nigeria. The rig or FPSO is not fabricated in Nigeria so that money is not entering Nigeria so cool down. They stated that they are investing $1b in the project not in Nigeria, get that perspective

It is a downgrade. In 2015 we were ranked as an emerging market which is higher than frontier. It is the likes of Nepal, Sierra Leone and Myanmar that are frontier markets.
So, is it an upgrade or a downgrade to our current conditions, not 1960?

It is a downgrade, if you were once 3rd position in first term, and you dropped to 18th position in second term and later you rose to 15th in 3rd term will your father hail you?

If he cannot hail you why hailing mediocrity?

It is simple the subsea trees, the vessels and the rigs or the FPSO are all produced abroad. The only part coming to Nigeria are little supply contracts.

You're saying 15th position is not an upgrade or improvement from 18th position?

Congratulations to every meaningful Nigerians!

Nigeria will work in my lifetime, by God's grace. Those who seek to undermine our nation's progress will ultimately be put to shame. I remain hopeful that a better, stronger, and more prosperous Nigeria is possible under President Tinubu.

I have never for once disbelieved PBAT's policies. The greatest tragedy that can happen to Nigeria is if they are stopped half way. Allow these policies to drive for the next five years and Nigeria will be up there. He has ignited fire on his ministers. Everyone is trying to reform. After PBAT we should be shopping for a good disciple up north to hand over so that the Lagos model can be replicated.

Oga they are investing in Nigerian project doesn't mean the full money is entering Nigeria. Think of it this way I want to build a house in my village and the total cost plus furnishing is 500m it doesn't mean that I put all the money in my village, because I had to import the furniture and major fittings from Italy so some costs went there and didn't end up in my village.

Even from your laughter you know it is a lie. They scaled down their operations by selling their onshore fields and assets to focus only on offshore.
Yeah, but they've not been investing in Exploration activities for the psst 10 years.

Yes, they may have been operational, but their posture has always been to produce from what they have, at least in the last 10 years.

My laugh is also tongue-in-cheek but I'm also serious.

This project is expected to add 40,000 barrels of oil per day within 18 months. Kindly give us an estimate of how much of the $1billion we should consider as beneficial to Nigeria.

That is not the issue, they not investing was clearly due to the plans to divest from onshore and shallow water oil fields and assets. So you have to be methodical about it also there was some uncertainty on the PiB bill which delayed some investment, also again at that point they still has Usan field which was delivering, so bro not everything was due to Tinubu, so make una slow down with propaganda.
