Oyo Pupils Rescued: Obidients And The Shame Of Tragedy Politics. by CharlesCNG(op): 9:50pm On Jul 10
Opposition And Disaster Merchandising. When Pain Becomes Propaganda.

The reported rescue of abducted Oyo pupils and teachers should bring relief to every decent Nigerian. According to AP, the Federal Government announced that students abducted in May in Oyo State had been rescued, with security forces also arresting eight suspected militants during the operation. The abduction had lasted over 50 days and involved dozens of pupils and teachers.

But while families were crying, praying and waiting, some opposition voices and that shameless, opportunistic peter obi and his lunatic despicable, disgusting obidients mob were already converting the tragedy into campaign material. Peter Obi had earlier used the abduction to attack President Tinubu, saying Governor Seyi Makinde told him Tinubu had not called him more than 50 days after the incident, and he used that claim to renew calls for Tinubu not to seek re-election.

This is the tragedy of opportunistic politics.

A child is abducted, and instead of asking how to support rescue efforts, some people begin calculating political advantage. They were not interested in coordination, intelligence, local security failure, forest routes, ransom networks, or the role of the state government.

They only wanted one headline: “Tinubu failed.”

Now that the victims have been rescued, will the same people celebrate with the same energy?

The opposition, obidients and that shameless, brainless peter obi should be ashamed. Human disaster is not campaign fuel. Children’s tears are not manifesto ink.

One suspects some of them will not even be happy today. They may already be waiting for the next tragedy to hang around Tinubu’s neck.

That is not patriotism.

That is disaster merchandising.

Nigeria needs serious opposition, not people like who treat national pain like campaign content.

Only morally bankrupt politics turns disaster into campaign fuel and converts human pain into propaganda.

They can't but expose their anger of hearing that the school kids have been rescued.

These are the same people who were insulting me and calling me all manner of names for refusing to be part of their anti South African campaign and stated that my tribalism and bigotry is hampering my patriotism.

This is was when I created a topic here that their mods deleted arguing why it is foolish to demand SA busineses in Nigeria like MTN, Multi Choice leave Nigeria as retaliation for South Africans demanded that all foreigners leave their country.

I stated how counterproductive it will be to see SA business like MTN leave Nigeria over the plight of Nigerian criminals in SA who are behind the anti South African movement due to SA being the most lucrative and freeset illicit drug market on the planet were they operate with impunity.

Now you can see how those who insulted me back then are the ones very bitter and saddened over the news of these kids being rescued by our Security operatives.

They demand patriotism from me to condemn South Africa for demanding their drug gangs leave that country but they are the ones gloating over every insecurity that befalls this country and are saddened when any good news like this arises.

No be madness be that ?

Glad our people's eyes are opening now. you don't play accomodator to your enemies to the point of allowing them disenfranchise your people in SW regional politics.. it's not done.

This Oyo incident will serve as lesson to Yoruba race that we need to wake up and be vigilant.. those who wish evil on us are more than those who wish us well.
For the record, I do not covet or send any other region's political office or position so I have every right to reject external influence in my own region's politics.. outsiders should stay away from Yorubaland politics and security architecture.

Dense Politics as usual

The outcry of the so called obidients was loudest and most likely caused authorities to do sth. Sycophancy and unconditional praise singing hardly achieved that..

Obidients were gloating over the abduction and were eagerly waiting for their abductors to start murdering them one by one as threatened by the terrorists.

You don cast.

The mathematics teacher that was beheaded, are you going to bring the life back ? It is supposed to happen in the first place ?

It is only in SW that terrorists kidnapped children school and hold them in bondage for close to 2 months. Has it happened in SE or SS ? No

You are now competing with Northerners in school children abduction. You should be praying that such things never happened again and urge the FG to do more in protecting lives and properties and not using it to play politics. If you loose guard again. Terrorist will also kidnap school children again.

Prevention is better than cure!

If they tell you that school children will be abducted in Oyo state, would you have believed ? Oyo state shared border with kwara state and kwara state has almost be overun by bandits and terrorists. Have that one at the back of your mind.

Imagine the rage you are supposed to direct to the people who abducted your people and even murdered one is what you are directing to your imaginary enemies because of politics.
I pray God heal you people.

If not for the opposing voices the government in power wouldn't have acted or try to rescue them, the opposition did the cry that get to their skin.

Don't mind APC supporters from south west. They all fled collectively when they saw threads concerning the abduction but are now everywhere jubilating at their release 😁

How To Spot An Obidient On Nairaland: A User Guide.

Not everyone who criticises Tinubu is an Obidient. and not everyone who supports opposition politics is an Obidient.

But there is a pattern.

If it quacks like an Obidient, insults like an Obidient, dodges facts like an Obidient, and shouts “data boy” like an Obidient, forgive me for recognising the duck.

You can usually spot them by the familiar feathers.

First, they rarely answer the issue. If you raise facts, they attack your motive. If you ask for evidence, they say you are paid. If you question Peter Obi, they say you are working for APC. If you defend a point they dislike, they call you “data boy.”

Second, they confuse abuse with intelligence. Instead of argument, you get insults. Instead of data, you get slogans. Instead of reasoning, you get “fake certificate,” “snatch and grab,” “criminal,” and other recycled chants........

What have I missed, shouldn't people be jubilating at the release, well normal sane people at least?

I am not APC but even I avoided those threads because I have no stomach for evil people jubilating over the abduction of innocent children because Peter Obí did not win the state during election, the wrath of the Lord awaits those Obidients anyway.

Hehehe 🤭 aswani the Yolo/Edo APC migrant has spoken his famous anthem once again 😎

You didn't/couldn't speak out on any single thread concerning those poor innocent Oyo kids in captivity because of the exact same reason we have never come across you speaking out on any single thread concerning your tilumbu's GbajaGate + Adeyinka et'all scandal 😁

Wanna guess what that reason is? 🧐
