Honestly, the frustration is understandable. Araujo has been nowhere near the level expected of a Barça centre‑back, and the mistakes are becoming too costly to ignore. For a player who was once seen as a future defensive leader, his decision‑making, positioning, and composure have all taken a worrying dip. At a club like Barcelona, you don’t get unlimited time to rediscover form, especially when the team is already struggling for stability.

If the board is serious about rebuilding the back line, then tough decisions have to be made. Letting him leave this window might actually be the cleanest solution for everyone involved. And you’re right: picking up someone like Senesi for free would’ve been smart business. He’s solid, experienced, and far more reliable right now than what Araujo has shown.

Barça can’t afford sentiment. If a player isn’t performing, the club has to move on quickly and bring in defenders who can actually deliver week in, week out. At this point, keeping Araujo feels more like holding onto a memory than a solution.

Wetin person go do. I read we're submitting a €130m offer after the world cup and tico sef fit no get choice after their stubbornness cause Alvarez no wan go psg or arsenal. They should just get a good CB to pair cubarsi next season. I no wan dey complain too much next season

In today's inflated market, there's no guarantee that whichever more expensive striker we want to replace him with will do better (with exception of Haaland or Kane).

We definitely need to replace his G/As esp when we've also lost Lewa.

I don't like the fact he's heading to psg before we see what happened with dembele but if he's leaving we have to get a good transfer fee for him. Enrique is just coming for our players which I don't view as a good thing

I'm saying he still serves some purpose and brings up to 20G/A a season which is decent. Glass leg Olmo cannot be relied on to be always around on the pitch, so who do we fall back on since Lewa has moved on?

He needs to be properly replaced that's what I'm saying and if he isn't we will miss his quota.

Ade and Gordon are more like covering for Rashy and Lewas departures.

Fermin has always been around or not around.
