Wike To Obi: Stop Wâsting Your Time Telling L!es, Nigerians Have Already Chosen Tinubu for 2027

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has told Peter Obi, the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party, to stop wâsting his time peddling l!es, insisting that Nigerians have already made up their minds to re-elect President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.

Wike made the remark yesterday during the commissioning of key infrastructure projects in Abuja.

The FCT Minister, known for his outspoken nature, did not mince words as he addressed Obi’s continued criticism of the Tinubu administration.

“Peter Obi should stop wasting his time telling l!es. Nigerians are not dece¡ved. They are ready to vote for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027,” Wike declared.

He claimed that the current administration’s performance, particularly in infrastructure development and economic reforms, has convinced the majority of Nigerians to support Tinubu’s re-election bid.

The Minister used the occasion of the project commissioning to highlight what he described as the visible dividends of democracy under President Tinubu, citing ongoing massive infrastructure upgrades across the FCT as evidence of purposeful governance.

This is not the first time Wike has taken a swipe at Obi. The former Rivers State Governor has consistently maintained that the NDC Presidential candidate l@cks the political structure and nationwide acceptance needed to win the presidency.

As the countdown to 2027 begins, more political heavyweights are expected to openly declare their positions on the presidency’s re-election bid.

Wike is telling Nigerians that we are not hungry anymore, and that we like our agbado, so Obi should not bother giving us a choice.

P.S. I am Obidient, and I love some of Tinubu's policies despite the hardship they have caused. I believe Obi might do more and some of it will create even more hardship because we will suffer to fix our past mistakes and improve our nation..

Oga, you know the reality, so stop deceiving yourself. It's not only Wike who knows we don't have much of a choice; we all know who's likely to win the election. Even the opposition candidates know it. Going by his calculation, he's not entirely wrong.
We Nigerians hardly decide anything, including who governs us. And most of you people loudly clamouring for free and fair elections online don't even have a voter's card. Even if they do, una no go show up on election day to vote.

The minister of land grabbling has only few months to 2027 to surrender himself or to be captured like a rat he is.

He has a lot of questions to answer about his infamous act of bribing the judiciary and extravagant expenditures of River state treasury when he was the governor

Even in Rivers in 2023 where he did 1 million flyovers he was roundly trashed by Peter Obi.

Yes it is possible.
It happened in my state 2012.
There was no need for oshiomole to rig.
He performed during his first term compared to the previous guys before him and we all saw it.
It wasn't a paper achievement for us to read like Tinubu is doing now, we all saw and experienced it physical. PDP and other parties just participated in that election for participating sake. Oshiomole won all the 18 local govt and none of the parties contested it in court or shout rigging😂
It was a clean sweep. Infact, the PDP candidate joined ACN then immediately.
It was unfortunate oshiomole decided not to do anything in his second term and we all felt betrayed for the faith we had in him.
It was even a bitter blow when he decided to impose Obaseki instead of allowing free and fair primaries
That was the genesis of oshiomole issue in Edo. That imposition of Obaseki. He didn't stop at the ACN primaries, he still went ahead to rig him in as governor. that was the reason when he came in 2020 and said he doesnt want Obaseki again, we told him clearly "Edo nor be Lagos" (meaning, one man doesn't decide for us).
