WatchYourSix:You could also say the third square because it doesn't have a black boundary line so it depends on how you see it. |
| Re: Which Of These Figures Is The Odd One Out? (Photo) by themanderon: 11:10pm On Jul 11 |
Winterhaven:The third square. It doesn't have a black line line others. |

That's the red square in the middle that has no black border line |

The circle. The question is which shape .... that's the crux of the question .... colour .. size .. border or not ... doesn't matter ... just the shape. |

Ifelove1:Yeah, it doesn't have any unique property that distinguishes it from the rest. It's ironic that it is its "normalness" that makes it odd ![]() |

WatchYourSix:Colour blind people would probably see shape first. |
| Re: Which Of These Figures Is The Odd One Out? (Photo) by geoworldedu: 4:49am On Jul 12 |
Depends on what you want. Colour wise, then it's the square in green colour Boundary wise, it's the red square without a black boundary line. Side wise, it's the circle among them. |

davidtemi:You called it the small one and still claimed it has no unique characteristic? It's obviously uniquely small! |

Winterhaven:The middle one without frame. |
| Re: Which Of These Figures Is The Odd One Out? (Photo) by fubsy: 7:18am On Jul 12 |
There are two shapes, circle and square. There are multiple shades of square but only one circle. In my opinion, the odd shape is the circle, as it stands out. |

WatchYourSix:Colour is not a shape, neither is size a shape. If the question asked were to be, "which 'object' is the odd one out? Then, your theory could have been considered. |
| Re: Which Of These Figures Is The Odd One Out? (Photo) by IamAsiri: 7:27am On Jul 12 |
Winterhaven:But you didn't ask "which figure"; you asked which shape. And there are just two different shapes there: square and circle. |
| Re: Which Of These Figures Is The Odd One Out? (Photo) by gbelondez: 8:32am On Jul 12 |
Okay i think it's the middle red square shape. Reason being that all shapes has colours regardless of the type but then it's the only shape with no outline and that's make it the odd one |
| Re: Which Of These Figures Is The Odd One Out? (Photo) by WatchYourSix: 8:51am On Jul 12 |
IamAsiri:What are u saying … the question says which figure is odd one out… i dont know why u are trying to make it about shape only.. U want to check which is odd out of a group… but u want to ignore the characteristics of the individual member of the group … as in?? Baba… opinion is free… but u dont have to force it.. |
| Re: Which Of These Figures Is The Odd One Out? (Photo) by emmanbol: 8:59am On Jul 12 |
Winterhaven:Easy. The one in the middle. It doesn't have border color like the rest. I mean the no 3. |

All are SQUARE shaped but the CIRCLE |
| Re: Which Of These Figures Is The Odd One Out? (Photo) by davidtemi(m): 10:06am On Jul 12 |
SmartyPants:That's not the case here bro. All the shapes are different in size and shape |
| Re: Which Of These Figures Is The Odd One Out? (Photo) by Blakjewelry(m): 10:08am On Jul 12 |
Winterhaven:You said figure in which one can look at it from a very different perspective but the write up in the picture specifically said shape, going by that it is the circle that is the odd one, except you change the rules with your writeup. |
| Re: Which Of These Figures Is The Odd One Out? (Photo) by davidtemi(m): 10:26am On Jul 12 |
SmartyPants:Shape 2 is the only large red square with a black border (setting the standard baseline). Shape 3 is the only shape without a black border. Shape 4 is the only green shape. Shape 5 is the only circle. Shapes 2, 3, 4, and 5 all have a special, single feature that makes them stand out. Shape 1 shares features with all of them (it is red, it is a square, it has a black border) but lacks any single rule-breaking trait of its own. Being completely "ordinary" makes it the true odd one out. |
| Re: Which Of These Figures Is The Odd One Out? (Photo) by SmartyPants(m): 10:48am On Jul 12 |
davidtemi:Partially sound reasoning with a wrong conclusion. Figure 1 is clearly smaller than every other shape measured vertically. Goes without saying that this makes it odd. Figure 2 is the only one that is not odd by any of the rules. Note that you are making a category error when you compare large red squares alone. You are to compare on the basis of rules that apply to all the figures at once. |
| Re: Which Of These Figures Is The Odd One Out? (Photo) by thesolutions(m): 10:56am On Jul 12 |
Winterhaven:The square at the center. It doesn't have black edges like the rest of the shapes. |
| Re: Which Of These Figures Is The Odd One Out? (Photo) by davidtemi(m): 10:59am On Jul 12 |
SmartyPants:Look beyond the size. We have 4 square, and 1 round shape in that picture, the round is already separated from others. Now let's work on the 4 square shapes... The 4 squares are different in size, so what makes one unique from another?? Look deeper pls |
| Re: Which Of These Figures Is The Odd One Out? (Photo) by SmartyPants(m): 11:09am On Jul 12 |
davidtemi:Is it logical to look beyond the size? Why mislead yourself just to argue? |
| Re: Which Of These Figures Is The Odd One Out? (Photo) by davidtemi(m): 11:18am On Jul 12 |
SmartyPants:Yes it is, because the 4 squares doesn't have same size |
