Nah, it was a deserved red card. Even though I badly wanted Argentina to lose, Embolo was so fulish to have done such a silly thing in this time and age of video reviews and without even considering the magnitude of the game. Argentina hasn’t meet a formidable team so far and the first European team they would be meeting gave them a badly bleeding nose and funnily, Switzerland is not even one of the top 10 in Europe yet Argentina struggled to win them despite being one man down. The game would have been a 50/50 thing if that silly thing didn’t destroy his team with his useless diving. I would have said he had sense if the diving had been done in the penalty box to wittingly win a penalty but no, bro just decided to do it for fun with no clear goal and the whole country got punished for it😏

Argentina has the easiest route to the final of this tournament. Today was the first time they would be meeting an average team from Europe. Bro played Algeria, Cape Verde, Jordan, Austria then Egypt. Football is not mathematics. You need luck and performance. In the past 3 matches , Argentina have not been fantastic but they were getting the job done. That's the hallmark of a champion.

When I was with a club back then, there are certain teams we'd meet, our coach will tell us, allow them hold the ball, but finish them at every slight opportunity, then lock up.
I played number 4 then, me an one Hausa guy, our number 5, when we lock that back, e don be. Football is maths. Sometimes you allow your opponent to solve full book, but you have only one job, ARRIVE AT THE FINAL ANSWER.
