You see those senators who do not offer jobs to their constituents? They most likely are selling their slots to their colleagues. That's why you see a senator offering around 20 offers at once.
Or, they give the opportunity to their aids who in turn, sell it to the highest bidder whom may not even be a constituent.
My advice is, if you can't get direct access to your senator, try getting close to his /her aids. That way, you'll get to know of opportunities so you can also bid for one.

BUT!,
You need to be very cautious cos a lot of people offering jobs for a fee are scammers.

The only information I have is some candidates are picking up letters this week. Be it Presidential or any type.
