If it stays like that for one year, who do you think will lose?
Iran has been through it for decades! As a matter of fact, they railways to China who is their major partner!

Oil prices will get to $200, inflation will cripple world economy. Less demand for petrol dollar and value drops.

Trump might be dumb but still wiser than you. He knows what’s at stake
Mr analyst, are you through with your explanation?

If Iran close it, America will blockade it

Trump says it's opened though. I guess we'd find out who's lying when energy price rise or drop in few weeks.
The Strait of Hormuz is always open. The problem is who'd be willing to risk crossing it (guided by US ships) and which insurance companies will be willing to insure such a person.
See below, insurance companies effectively closed it before the war even fully got going

Benjamin Netanyahu has been justified.

He is the only solution to the nonsense going on in the middle east.

That man is a gift from God to the world.
Iran is currently avoiding Israel striking Orman, Kuwait, Bahrain but Israel is left out, why

Before then Iran would have come under FULL US administration

Trump has been holding Netanyahu back else all this nonsense would have been over by now

Iran cannot survive a combined US air and ground assault
If that option was feasible, it would have been taken long ago.
For me, Trump is not a strategic thinker. Presidents have different advisers, he is responsible for choosing the best course of action against Iran, he choose wrong.
Only option left for Trump is to swallow his gigantic ego and forgo that strait to Iran.
Ground invasion will result in heavy human casualties on both sides, Iran can take the hit but trump will explain to American people his stakes in a war that is costing them the lives of their youth and billion of dollars in tax payer money where healthcare, inflation etc are becoming unbearable.

Midterm elections are drawing near, his chances of retaining majority in the house becomes slimmer with everyday the war progresses.

Head or tail, he lost this one. The leadership that were more diplomatic have been eliminated. He has to deal with hardliners, vindictive irgc sects.

The US, South Korea and 20+ UN countries could not defeat a coalition of North Korea, China and Russia during the Korean war. I doubt NATO can even stand such war currently.

The Americans can't even stand North korea open a Frontline with South Korea and China invade Taiwan. They will probably need a coalition of 50+ countries to fight such fronts.

Netanyahu should be given a special award as the man who saw the future in this case.....he reads these guys just like a book...just imagine the plain terrorism they're displaying to not just the people they claimed attacked them but to the entire world at large because of this natural leverage they managed to get their hands on.

Imagine the audacity to suggest that Oman's route shouldn't be used....only that of Iran should be used. grin.....and then going ahead to attack ships for no reason. undecided

No central leadership...just confused sets of hydra cells going rogue and terrorizing the world....they should count themselves lucky tho that Netanyahu is not the one presiding over a country like the US if not the story would've been different for them by now....He will match fire with double fire.

I would encourage everyone to start getting used to higher energy prices because Iran have proven that they cannot be trusted.....the world should absorb the impact and also find alternative routes if possible or even join the campaign to defeat this rogue state whom have vowed to continually hold the world hostage instead of them spiting and attacking Netanyahu all day....He has been proven right to chose brutal means with dealing with their likes afterall.
Go cross their strait of Hormuz like you did to that girl yesterday and see if you won't collect. Its in their backyard, you don't tell them what they do with it. You can encourage your yellow pawpaw who is now afraid of his shadow to do his worst. Never seen US President been so afraid to die for his people and for the fight he started.

Foolishness.
Let's look at it another way. Suppose Iran had simply agreed to allow UN nuclear inspectors in:

1) Ayatollah Khamenei and his family will stil be alive
2) All top highly trained Iranian leaders will still be alive
3) 7000 Iranian soldiers will still be alive
4) Iran will still have Airforce, Navy, and Air defence
5) Iran won't have the highest inflation since the early 40's and their citizenry greatly suffering
6) Iran will still be laying timed mines on Strait of Hormuz, making it a big bargaining chip
7) Iran will still have all the billions worth of infrastructure destroyed
cool Iran would have eventually developed a way to secretly build Nukes because they'd have had money and a buoyant economy, but now they are degraded, decimated, and hungry, and the last thing on their mind is nukes!

From what i understand, the US is trying to work something out with Oman. Ships in their territorial waters are of no concern to the IRGC.

This imminent isolation scares them.

First it was the road up north with Armenia and Azerbaijan. Then the Lebanon - Isreal deal, with the right legal framework, disputes over the strait ends.

They may not succeed this time around now that entire NATO force has seen reason to support the US and Isreal. Except China, Russia and North Korea are actively supplying them with missiles, i dont see them withstanding what is about to hit them if they continue this way.

The unjust assassination of their leaders were the reasons alot of countries abstained from supporting the US despite being hitting hard by the effects.
If you understand the landmass and terrain of Iran, your claims will be more circumspect.
The only cards left for Trump is to destroy civilian utilities, nuclear electricity plant, gas plant, desalination plant etc. Iran already promised to return the favour on her gulf nation neighbours which houses trillions of dollars in USA, Europe investments.

The missiles, drones Iran is using to create all this havoc can be lunched from anywhere in Iran making tracking etc almost impossible.

They have tried creating/sponsoring an uprising amongst the citizen, still didn't work. Militias have been supported to topple the regime without any success.
Seems like there's going to be shift in world power soon, American facade of power has been tested and found wanting in Iran.

They see it, but with that lot, blind loyalty trumps logic.

Don’t ask questions just hate. Don’t isolates issues just go with the consensus view.

Where I lost them is how on earth someone respects a so called man of god who wishes death on people made by God? If the Pope declared hate for any country today I’ll be the first to reprimand him.

so he is going to send 1 million out of their 2m military personnel to subdue Iranians that are willing to die for thier country, how does he transport them and what makes you think even 5m American soldiers would be enough

Interestingly, IRGC is biting more than it can chew. It is evident beyond reasonable doubt that the hardliners who are hell bent in holding the world into ransom are foolishly and audaciously trying to go rampage and carnage as well become a hard nut to crack beyond the shores of Iranian leadership through the democratic elected leaders. Apparently, They are toeing the the parth and instructions from Ayatollah Khameini jrn but let it be told unequivocally that they will met their waterloo very soon the day of reckoning is obviously knocking. Conversely, because Iran is already becoming a rogue and a failed state with two emerging powers, how is taking Omani route on the Hormuz your business? Most ships avoid Iranian water space in the Hormuz because of their problems but still yet some rogue psychopaths are hell bent in burning and causing eclipse to the economy activities of the world. We are watching... him who prays for rain without an an umbrella should not blame it when it beats him.

Thank you very much,Iran has use the Shiite ideology to infiltrate and weaken some of the Arab countries like Oman,Yemen n Lebanon. If not ordinarily the omanis should have been protesting against the Iranian exploitations,by simple geographical logic shilp would transit the Hormuz straight closer to the Oman coast than Iran as it is by far the shorter route but Oman is quiet while Iran wants to falsely n forcefully claim ownership of the Hormuz straight against international maritime law,but let them continue, they are actually foolishly digging their own grave, already they have given the Israelis the good opportunity to properly handle hizbolah in Lebanon, the Iranians will certainly n definitely loss las las.
