But remember that most Nigerians voted for Bola Tinubu because of his acclaimed Track Records in Lagos State i mean the so called Track Records and foot print they claimed he left in Lagos State. But look what is going on in Nigeria today, the so called TRACK RECORDS is nowhere to be found in fact Nigeria people are fed up.

He might get the greatest shock of his life if his rigging machine failed to perform well in this coming election.

But this is not logical.

Make no mistake,Tinubu is incharge of INEC based on the constitution.
The only reason why INEC still holds some sort of independence is due to the spotlight on them as they determine sensitive elections like the president,national assembly and gubernatorial elections.

However, it is really a surprise that APC is winning even in supposed opposition strongholds.

So data boys are jubilating over an LGA selection and using it as a basis to imply thats how Tinubu will win the 2027 elections.

This is not only hilarious but unfortunately unreasonable!

Even a novice in politics knows that state governors have unlimited access and control over the state electoral institution and determine who becomes LGA chairman years before Tinubu became president.

So it's surprising to see APC data boys rejoicing over this result.😆😆

What most if not all Nigerians are interested in is the presidency,national assembly and gubernatorial elections.

So anyone hoping this same playbook in the LGA selection will replicate itself in very important election is just trying hard to deceive themselves.

Edo state Local Government elections were held on Saturday 11July2026, and the Edo State Independent Electoral Commission has announced candidates of the All Progressives Congress as winners of the chairmanship seats in all 18 local government areas (LGAs) of the state.

The APC also won all the 192 ward councillorship seats in the election.

Mr Jonathan Aifuobhokhan, Chairman of the commission, declared the results during a press conference in Benin, the state capital, on Sunday 12July2026.

He said the election was successfully conducted in all the 18 LGAs and 192 wards in the state.

According to him, accreditation, voting, sorting, counting, collation and declaration of results were carried out in accordance with the Edo State Local Government Electoral Law 2022 (as amended in 2026), and other applicable regulations.

“Following the completion of the collation process at the various ward and local government collation centres, the duly appointed ward and local government returning officers announced and declared the results in their respective jurisdictions.

“Based on the official results declared by the returning officers, the commission hereby declares that the All Progressives Congress w[url][/url]on the 18 local government chairmanship positions and all the 192 councillorship seats contested in the election,” he said.

Maybe the person that said most of the people calling themselves obidient are brainless might not be far from the truth after all.

1. Firstly, are you now saying that INEC will not rig for Tinubu again? because that has been you people's song (when it fits your narrative). But now that you want to make a baseless point, INEC is now independent (meaning Tinubu cannot write figures for them to announce). You either stay in one lane or try to make sense to yourself at least.

2. In a village where 80% of the 'government' workers there are either directly Local government employees (secretariat) or state employees (who put the chairmen and Councillors there). Those that are not directly employed by the local government has one link or the other to the local government (farmland, shop, even market space) that is controlled by the same Tinubu's government of Local, State and Federal and here you are saying nobody votes in local government election. On the Federal election day who will also vote? If the local government chairman doesn't want anybody to vote in a ward so that he can write result from his room (in conjuction with electoral officer sent by Tinubu and supervised by Tinubu's security agents, who in that village dem born him papa well to say no.

The next step after that is all eyes on Judiciary, same "Tinubu's Judiciary" (when it fits your narrative) but now when you want to give yourself hope, you will say the same Tinubu's Judges will overturn election and say he should vacate the seat for Mr. Peter Obi
