shogsman:I am not interested in going to abroad even though I can't reject such a juicy opportunity. However, despite the fact I am not happy with the state of Nigeria I will be happy to make it here and live a fulfilling life here haven't said so I am not triggered by any interest to make my comment it is bored out of the erratic and irrational behavior of Iran and IRGC. It is not by force to use your water ways in Strait of Hormuz. |

HacheNoire:Obama's deal that gave Iran enough resources to develop nukes and missiles, is that one a deal? Where did you hide your thinking faculty ![]() |

Hi Baxilexi:There are international water ways for free navigation under the international maritime law,Iran should never be allow to change the law by force, the straight of Hormuz is certainly very strategic for world crude trade but it is not the only straight in the world, allowing Iran to change the law would set a very dangerous precedent n disruption of international shipping n trade. |

shogsman:Nobody bombed Qatar, Oman, UAE, Saudi, and other Gulf nations. Why is Iran so problematic? Why did they go out of the deal with America to enrich Uranium and build very lethal missiles and continue to shout death to America and Israel? Whereas, these countries they aim to extinguish can quench them in one night, but with their sane mind and love for human dignity will not choose that path. Now, tell me where is your conscience? Do you still have the brain that God gave you? Some of you deserved to be locked up in underground dungeon for believing and following nonsense ideology. Spits! |

Razzness:Before this crisis, where were the pirates?,ok, it's the plan of Iran to sponsor pirates like they are sponsoring hizbolah, houthis n others,ok let them continue, las las the results will decide |

DuttyChuks:Do you know what you are talking about? The Strait of Hormuz passes between Iran, Oman, UAE and even Saudi Arabia. Go check the map. Iran cannot hijack it to itself alone. The worst they can do is to control their side. Oman, UAE and S/Arabia have the right to decide on their own side of the strait. Iran is only harassing them because these countries do not have strong military. By the way: why is Iran not attacking Israel? Last week, Iran attacked Jordan by sending missiles. Jordan and Israel share borders. Why is Iran avoiding Israel? I want to see Iran sending missiles to Israel. Every mad person has a master! |

How is Iran older than Israel in civilization? |

Deepthoughts:I share in your sentiments. If the IRGC is allowed to, Yemen would do the same, Egypt, Indonesia etc. But we’re dealing with irrational folks that would rather destroy the world to please the IRGC. |

HacheNoire:there's a lot you and I don't know about those wars and many things happening deep there Na news we all dey follow. The actors know better than even the analysts |
| Re: Iran Says Strait Of Hormuz Closed 'until Further Notice' by HacheNoire: 4:53pm On Jul 13 |
Northsouth:Not all of us! People like myself know how the world economy works. Energy is a major product, and that straight accounts for over 20% of world energy passes through that strait. A blockade will be a big disaster for world economy due to upward trend of oil price. The dollar value is based on demand and supply and backed by nothing, and the petro dollar drives it. A blockade is about less demand which will put it on a downward trend. So, it’s not logical to use the demands of just one country to tumble the world economy. In a case of further escalation, Iran still has BIG targets that have not been hurt that if escalation should go all out, energy infrastructures across the Middle East will be doomed, and who will all those affected? The world! |
| Re: Iran Says Strait Of Hormuz Closed 'until Further Notice' by Northsouth(m): 9:42pm On Jul 13 |
HacheNoire:you still don't really get the point anyway As you know how the world economy works right Well I can tell you something new, what war of this stage and magnitude will cause, no one knows precisely You never can tell which war will begin a bigger war You just never can analyse or tell the whole economy when everything goes south The bottom line is You are only trying to make it look like Iran has the cards, but common sense should tell you that superpowers are in that position for a reason It's not a joke to get to where America is today I know empire rise and fall, yes it may be America turn to fall, I don't know, nobody knows But if it's not their time to fall, my brother Iran may not survive a dangerous hardship Especially when America leader has a hidden and personal agenda Be that as it may If the strait is closed by Iran and America too decide to blockade it or perhaps continue the war Common sense will predict that two nations will suffer their losses But at the same time, Iran may take time to a longtime to recover if all hell break lose You know who is bigger than you, you just don't have to display cowardice act, but one must know how to navigate life and make the best possible decision |

Baxilexi:The IRGC or whatever is there acronym would soon meet their Waterloo n wish they had never taken this path,Now the USA are going to forcefully secure the Hormuz straight n become it guardian n toll it for security cost,Iran would only watch helplessly in utter pains n shame. |
