It is not having the skills that is the problem, but how to get employed by one of them.

So it is not as easy or as a good news as it appears to be.

Actually, no.

Yahoo boys are mostly illiterate. They lack the qualifications needed to work for any one of those companies. Most of them cannot even do code, and cannot even do anything apart from scripts, and most of the time they fail. And many of them lack general knowledge...which is why they fail many times.

The only people they succed with are lonely old people, and people who are looking for companionship.

Plus if you were the owner of an IT company, would you hire yahoo boy to work for you? Someone that can rob others will rob you well well.

It's great to know that that route is still active for immigrants.

If you possess the necessary skill set 👌 please make effort to move out.

Until a God fearing president is elected in Nigeria, there's no hope.

Using scripts, and using fake cloned emails. Anyone can do that. A lot of scammers even in the USA and Asia and India do that self. It's only people who do not check closely or click on any link in any unsecured email that fall for that thing...and yes they exist in saner climes.

But to write the code for an new type email service or website, they can't do.

100k has been struck down by court…

And companies in US are still sponsoring H1B for internal applicants…

Meaning if you are already in the US, the 100k doesn’t apply

That worker visa I think has a 100 day limit or so, I'm active on forums on reddit and see Indians who earn abroad from the visa talk about having to find a new job in 100 days or risk deportation once they're let go from the job that brought them over.

New filings.

If you are on a visitors visa and get a company that is ready to file for you, the fee is applicable to you.

Those who have existing H1B applying for renewal in the US are the ones who are exempted.

Why would a visitor visa be converted to work visa?

Lol

Most beneficiaries of H1B are students

Even though it’s rare, miracles happen and it is not illegal. If the company finds you extraordinary, they will go any length.

What happens if the United States company terminates the employment of the foreign professional?
Will the professional be deported?
