This Nigeria is the only country that would make the most intellectually sound human to reason like an ape. students were adopted for about almost 2 months from their schools, the government couldnt ultilize drones and other modern ammenities to to track triangulate the position of the captives within 24hrs and launch a rescue operation. When CDS Christopher musa said they couldnt launch a swift counter rescue operation due to terrain and bandits told soldiera not to come near during the rescue operation, i was totally ashamed that a whole man i respected so much could alter a statement like this. Tinubu And Security Forces Are Failures i can say this a thousand times!!!!!the nigerian security achitecture need a complete overhaul in both strategy and training, its not by making recruits do harsh activities that make them rugged but logistics and commitment from the government. How I Would Have rescued The Children With 24hrs if i was in power i would have launched a swift counter rescue operation and gotten those innocent kids back to their parents within 24hrs. phase 1 Tracking the routes the terrorists took were visible, which recconissance teams and info from the locals, thermal high altutude surveilance drones would be launched almost immediately to follow the kidnappers until their last stop. phase 2 Assault(Old oyo national park) since the terrorist strong hold had been identified a special forces rescue 50 man team would be rapidly assembled to parachut or drop into the forest with data from satelite and reconisaance high altitude drone while a 200 assault land squad would lead the charge Phase 3 Surrender Ultimatum Issued To Bandits An ultimatum would be given to the bandits surrender or die and if u kill the captives a more horrific lenghty torment death awaits them. Phase 4 Assault with use of powerful soft kill area assault weapons(i wont mention them here because bandits are on nairaland too),deployed from aircraft from 30,000feet above, the terrorists alongside with the captives would be rendered unconcious or temperally incapacitiated the assault land force with mine claring vehicles leading the charge and troops behind will storm into the enclaves and rescue the captives and arrest all the incapacitated terrorists in the camp and burn the camp to the ground. This shouldnt last for 24-48hrs max if the government were to be sincere and if i was in charge, those kids would be rescued within 48hrs max. What Nigrian Government Did they claimed thery were strategising for almost 2 months will innocent kids and teachers endured murder, famine, molestation possibly rape and emotional trauma .and when they are finally rescued, the APC government counted this as an achievment. This Is Shameful!!!! |

favor914:I am happy actually about their release, as I can't imagine little children in a bush with ruthless criminals. The people responsible should be brought to book, especially for the beheading of the teachers. Justice will make me happier. |

Don't reason the matter too far. There is a recent video on X where a recently retired navy seal who came to Nigeria to help train the best of the army's special forces was shocked on how the soldiers struggled to shoot and hit target. He further said that one of the soldiers could barely press the trigger of his pistol because of how weak his fingers were. While I'm grateful for the efforts and sacrifices our armed forces have made and keep making, the truth is basic competence wouldn't have put them in such situations in the first place. The number one duty of a competent military force is spotting the threat before it gets to the point where kinetic solutions have to be adopted. The Nigerian security architecture keeps playing wack-the-mole. It is inevitable they'll keep losing men as a result. |

It still boils down to negligence and insincerity from the State Governors.. since intelligence got out that terrorists were moving into South West forest, the Governors like Seyi Makinde dismissed it as nothing till calamity struck. Now he is asking for probe from UN, taking reactive approach when he should have acted before such incident happened. I pity my Yoruba people because of the things we have seen happening around especially in North and Middle Belt. The South South is by far secured because the terrorists know they can't operate freely in a region that had (has) militants armed to the teeth. They know the soft targets they can pick on and sadly Yorubas who fall under majority ethnic group fall under the soft targets. May God allow you people have sense to know you don't tackle terrorism with big grammar and "professor" titles. |

All these bring back our girls, bring back our kids crooners are so unhappy that the government brought them back. Look at Davido, Aisha Yesuf, Oby, the other content creators, and their presidential candidates. They've been quite dumbfounded. |

Image123:How can we be happy when you and your APC government hid the execution of a second school teacher just so you can save tilumbu and his hideous face 🤭 |

flokii:Stop crying for yorubas, did they cry for you in the north when your own terrorism was wrecking havok all around your homes and bushes? ![]() |
| Re: Oyo Student Rescue Operation A Shameful Saving Face Show by Image123(m): 4:53am On Jul 14 |
SeeWahala:So why couldn't they hide the first one? Is that more important than the rescue?
Do the events described in this video look like a joke to you? |
| Re: Oyo Student Rescue Operation A Shameful Saving Face Show by SeeWahala: 5:00am On Jul 14 |
Image123:Why was it hidden initially until the poor innocent woman had to cry out on live television about the second hideous execution? ![]() |
| Re: Oyo Student Rescue Operation A Shameful Saving Face Show by Image123(m): 6:05am On Jul 14 |
SeeWahala:Who posted and spread the first one? Was it government? |
| Re: Oyo Student Rescue Operation A Shameful Saving Face Show by SeeWahala: 6:08am On Jul 14 |
Image123:Exactly! Why do you people like hiding information and doing 'boju - boju' political propaganda to save face even when we the masses catch you with the 'remaining' yam, knife and red oil stain on your mouth and singlet? 🤨 |
| Re: Oyo Student Rescue Operation A Shameful Saving Face Show by Sirjamo: 6:10am On Jul 14 |
You can't even write properly, and you think you have a hostage rescue strategy better than the whole Nigeria security agencies put together. |
| Re: Oyo Student Rescue Operation A Shameful Saving Face Show by Image123(m): 6:13am On Jul 14 |
SeeWahala:You're clearly ignorant. Government cannot be spreading terror and acts of terrorism. Terrorists and opposition that gladly spread them are the people you should be asking why they hid killings. It's not the government's job to share how terrorists are killing people. You obviously don't know what you are doing. Same thing Reno was explaining to Davido when he went on world stage to advertise terrorism. Now, he's too dumbfounded to advertise the rescue. |

Image123:So . . . 🤔 Assuming one of my distant relatives was a bandit, that's how you will pick me up and keep me somewhere . . . Call that my distant cousin, do video call andtell him you will kpai me if he should venture and kpai another of his victims? 🧐 Then you . . . BEING THE GOVERNMENT WILL GO ON NATIONAL MEDIA TO TELL THE PUBLIC THAT YOU DID IT BECAUSE . . . ? 🤨 Can you finish the string of thought above using your own POV for me please 🤗 , making sure to remember that your APC GOVERNMENT IS NOT A TERRORIST! |
| Re: Oyo Student Rescue Operation A Shameful Saving Face Show by Image123(m): 6:24am On Jul 14 |
SeeWahala:You lost me totally here. We're talking about who's hiding information, remember? |
| Re: Oyo Student Rescue Operation A Shameful Saving Face Show by SeeWahala: 6:33am On Jul 14 |
Image123:Yes! I agree 🤗 And you posted that 'your APC government does not release information that will discomfort or cause agitation to the masses' (that's my comprehension of your bala - blu 🌽 by the way )BUT From another absolutely different angle on the same issue, [i]you tell Nigerians that they can be abducted and kept as hostages AT ANY DAY OR TIME simply because someone else, somewhere else, maybe via relationship by BLOOD alone is associated with kidnapping? ![]() |
| Re: Oyo Student Rescue Operation A Shameful Saving Face Show by Image123(m): 6:35am On Jul 14 |
SeeWahala:That's a different point totally. So, i guess you agree that government shouldn't be aiding and advertising terrorist activities as they didn't advertise the first murder, or it's simply time to shift goalpost? |
| Re: Oyo Student Rescue Operation A Shameful Saving Face Show by SeeWahala: 6:40am On Jul 14 |
Image123:So, you as a government, abducted innocent citizens, just because they were related to kidnappers and held them at Knife/Gun point and took video/audio proof then sent to the kidnappers as (according to you APC gang of goons) "A DETERRENT" to them un-aliving more victims 🤔 And you say I am shifting goal post? 🧐 So we shouldn't be bothered about that news as Nigerian citizens? |
