Isn't he trying to curry favour from Northerners after ethnising his government for 3 years? If not, he wouldn't repeat the muslim-muslim ticket. He might as well do it properly. He is in Abuja but couldn't even honour Buhari properly, he had to send Shettima. He was in Abuja but he couldn't even attend the inauguration of his door-to-door campaign. The poster you quoted is right. It is beginning to look like the president is in hiding from the very people he governs. This is tragic!

Perhaps there is something you want him to do by appearing in public that the rest of us don't know about.

Part of that abandonment led to Yahaya Bello becoming Governor instead of James Faleke, and it also resulted in Adams Oshiomhole being removed as APC National Chairman. Yet, shortly before his re-election bid, President Buhari magically returned to Asiwaju because he needed his support, as well as that of the South-West and the ACN bloc.

Don't tell me you've forgotten all of that.

It was also widely discussed that members of President Buhari's inner cabinet rejected the people Tinubu had recommended for ministerial appointments.

And please stop the joke that El-Rufai made Tinubu President, it is being taken too far. He didn't!
Malam only wanted a Southern presidency, and the most viable candidate with a broad nationwide chance was Tinubu. So, he had little choice but to support him.
If El-Rufai was truly that influential, President Tinubu would have won Kaduna State. But he didn't. So, where was the El-Rufai factor?
Tinubu didn't Ganduje, he only played his roles as the Commander-in-Chief foister unit in the party, by doing the right thing. The party zoned it's chairman position to North Central, so what was it doing in the North West, in the hand of another Muslim? As for Baduru, he played himself. He was grossly incompetent and corrupt, so Tinubu had no choice than to sack him. Fortunately, the man that replaced him is showing workings.

He couldn't even win Lagos and Osun his ancestral state but his whole cabinet is populated by Lagosians today. Elrufai didn't "deliver" Kaduna for the same reason Tinubu failed to deliver Lagos for himself. The 400k votes he got in Kaduna against 500k from a Northern Atiku was as good as a victory. Did Ganduje deliver Kano?

In one breath, "Tinubu didn't nominate any minister" and in the same breath, "all his nominees for minister were rejected". After nominating the number 2 man, he still got a lot than most but he wanted more, including the leverage to impose governors in Kogi and Edo despite holding onto Lagos for 20 years and counting. Little wonder he has captured Nigeria for himself but is still unsatisfied. That level of greed is insatiable.

Well, goodluck beating the North but you are yet to do so even for once. The North made Tinubu president after he publicly begged Elrufai in Kaduna. We will see how far muslim-muslim ticket will take you in 2027 but don't obliterate Seyi Makinde while at it. I hope for his own sake, Tinubu will be able to do better than the 4 Yoruba states he won out of 17 Southern states in 2023.
