It is visible to the blind that Seyi Makinde is not a threat; in the scheme of things, none of the major contenders will lose a strand of hair over Makinde's candidacy. Why should the presidency orchestrate a sham kidnapping to sabotage Seyi's presidential ambition? It is unarguable that Makinde won't even win the South West not to talk of Nigeria. How did we allow politics to trump humanity and our sense of ratiocination. The problem with some Nigerians is that they are not logical. Has APM being merged with APC? Why does Tinubu feel entitled to Makinde's support? Makinde hasn't said anything that Tinubu himself has not said. Tinubu came out as Commander-in-Chief to boldly declare that the insecurity in the country is as a result of his enemies trying to get rid of him. Tinubu can say so but Makinde cannot?

why not start from the beginning ....when the incident happened, Fayose a mouth piece of Wike/Tinubu came out to accuse Seyi makinde directly he wasnt subtle ...he alleged seyi orchesrated the kidnap to tarnish the president, they APC start with " politics"

If Seyi decides to play politics back we cant really discredit his move for independent investigation ... @least it either exposes Seyi as evil or innocent

Tinubu and Makinde are not on the same pesdestal. A President is not the same as a state Governor aspiring in vain to be a President. Anyways, those in captivities has been rescued by the same FG Seyi accused. And they have been handed over by the FG to same Seyi.

Hypocrisy. Show me your rebuttal rebuking Fayose when he said Seyi Makinde was responsible for the kidnap. Seyi only called for an independent investigation and you all are foaming in the mouth. It's commendable that the government has secured the release of the kidnapped children in Ori ire. Let them do so for other victims in Kwara, Kogi, Borno, etc that have being wallowing in captivity longer than the ori ire victims.

P.S: Tinubu's highest position was as governor before becoming president. The only thing he has in excess of Seyi is age, not competence.
