andrewbaba44:No. Fermin benched Rashford as a make shift left winger. He'll easily bench Bayana while Olmo continue in the #10 role. |

OkpaNsukkaisBae:Lool what does that have to do with anything? I'm telling you Busquets has done absolutely nothing outside of Xavi tax. All his successes he has had are with Xavi by his side You are blaming coaches and further buttressin my point. He's a Pep and Xavi merchant National team politics and seniority is why Busquets started ahead of Rodri. That's how it usually works especially in an experienced based position like midfield. Unai Simon is starting ahead of Raya right now but we all know Raya has been the best keeper the last 2 seasons. That's how it works Busquets is a bus rider. He has never been important for winning on any team and every time he has been asked to lead a midfield he has failed woefully Using 'prime' for an average player like Busquets is a misnomer. I was initially tricked till I saw him extensively play without his safety net of Pep and Xavi and it has been disgrace and calamity for Spain and Barcelona ever since I have seen Rodri as a general lead his teams to trebles, PL 4peats, Euros and a World Cup Final. The difference is clear |

A40:Busquets could not be in the Ballon d'Or conversation in those days, just because of Messi and Ronaldo’s dominance, do you really think Rodri would have won the Ballon d'Or in that era? |

MorataFC:OK be in the Modric and Kroos conversations. That one no be excuse. Shey Ribery no win Balon D'or? Robben and co. When did we watch any era of Barcelona and say they are winning cos of Busquets. Honest question. If you put Busquets for Man City. Can he play what Rodri has been playing? Rodri can do Xavi's job and Busquets job combined at an elite level. They are not on the same level. We don't know that Busquets can even play outside Barcelona setup. We have no evidence of this |

Olise was missing in that second-leg game against PSG because Luis Enrique detailed Ruiz to stop him. Today, he was missing for the entire game. His nonchalant approach to the game is funny until it gets to a point where it hurts the team. Dembele had a bad game, but you can not fault his effort; he kept on trying... Olise should step up; nobody cares about whatever he does in the Buli. It is in big tournaments and in important games like today's that top players are defined. |

The reason France has a world cup and Nations league is because of Paul Pogba You lot spoke on his name like he was some scrub, deserved player of the tournament in 2018 And therefore the ballon d'Or that modric stole |

U dey compare Busquet with Kroos, Modric , Ribbery and Robben? Dis guy na clown🤡 You should be comparing Busquet with Casemiro, Kante. Take Rodri to 2010 or 2012 era, he won't make the Spanish squad as a DM substitute. |

Jamiuokolaa: ![]() Wenger knew... Wenger added: "For me, the real question mark is Spain. If any team is capable of beating France right now, I would say it's Spain. Because they have a better technical level than France. They have a quality of collective play, and a culture of collective play, that nobody else in the world has at the moment. Not at this level, anyway. So it's between those two in my opinion. After that, of course, France is stronger physically. |

Rodri noisemakers I was expecting to see 100 passes at 95% accuracy only to be disappointed to see 67 passes at 86% accuracy. Fabian Ruiz made the same number in less time on the pitch , made 2 through passes to Rodri 0, made same tackles and more interceptions He is just lucky to face a non existent France midfield while having 4 ball keepers beside him, while France only has 2 poor midfielders. Na Digne win the game for Spain which was the weakness we highlighted |
