Yh! Been in the game for around 15 years now, even though I'm really not active anymore.

That's why I'm baffled and appalled at the crazy pricing on that phone, it's better I ship it in from China than push out that crazy amount for a 6yr old used phone.

For the update, try updating via Samsung Smart Switch on a PC, or check if your phone is a carrier-locked model. For fonts, go to Settings > Display > Font size and style > Font style to download official ones from the Galaxy Store

Here is the direct breakdown for both questions:

How to check your Carrier Model
Go to Settings > About phone and look at the Model Number. If it ends in "U" (e.g., SM-S918U), it is a US carrier phone. This is exactly why your updates are stuck; US carriers only push updates over the air to phones inside the US. To fix it, simply plug the phone into a PC running Samsung Smart Switch to force the update.

How to use Custom Fonts.
Since you want fonts outside the official store, download zFont 3 from the Play Store. Open it, select any custom font you like, choose the One UI option, and just follow the 5 quick on-screen backup-and-restore steps to apply it system-wide.
