patrickmuf:I can't be cornered in a debate cos I will always give cogent reason for any change of opinion. I'm not a rigid and stubbornly ignorant type I have been slandering Busquets before the pandemic. You can go back as 2022 on this page where I argued with Barca fans so he has no leg to stand on. He should even be happy we finally agree on something |

popizaino: ![]() No use awada kill me this guy What did Casillas win while Canizares was still in Spain? Van Bommel used to bench Xavi. Eddie Jones used to bench Kobe Bryant What does that matter in the grand scheme of things? When Busquets was in Europe Rodri was leading his team to a continental treble. Scoring a Champions league Final winner and voted player of the tournament. That's impact not the passenger role Busquets dey do Enrique's mistake of playing and relying on Busquets when he was finished is what led to failure for Spain. You see now what happens when Rodri is in charge. Back to back finals of World and Euros as the star man. None of which passenger Busquets ever achieved. Latino Derek Fisher is what Busquets is |

popizaino:Exactly. I just saw a short video highlight of Barca vs Madrid Super Cup Final on Barca sub (Reddit) during Xavi era. Barca won that match convincingly just like Spain did. You will see Busquet performance, just one touch football, very neat & beautiful touches from Busquet |

Ibime:I would excuse this pile of dust you typed because I already know what pain does to the mind. If Spanish DMs flatter to deceive, why did that same Zubimendi win Arsenal the league after more than 20 years of suffering? Even if you didn’t learn anything from the shame Jorginho put you to, will you also be forming coconut head on Rodri lessons?? This snail doesn’t just have team success, he has a Balon d’or — the first ever DM. Another snail “Jorginho “ nearly won the Balon d’or too. I think you watch football out of peer pressure and don’t really understand much about it. |

swiz123:Did I not tip Arsenal to win the league with Zubimendi signing, something your Jogginho couldn't do? Your attempt to label me anti-technical midfielder won't work. I'm anti-weakness whether technical or physical, that's why I was Bakayokos biggest hater before he signed. My theory is a DM should be able to deal with anyway the game go, whether possession or transition game You, once a player is weak and slow, you fall in love with them assuming they are technical just because they are weak and slow, just like you love Felix and Jogginho, the technical midfielder that can't turn with a player on his back |

Ibukzy:Go and check the rules on any handball (intentional or not) giving the attacker a goal advantage. AI cannot interpret FIFALONA own rules in isolation. If the handball is unintentional but leads to a goalscoring opportunity , the goal is to be cancelled. The VAR should be sacked.

patrickmuf:Olise flopped almost throughout the knockout stage. Immediately it got to Rd 16 his assists dried up but his nonchalant fine boy football continued. He kept trying to nutmeg Spanish players that if you lose the ball to them, it will take you 4 Eke market days to get the ball back. |

My boys are good. Good boys. But Spain deserved the win. I hope they go on to win the title. |

popizaino:It tells us nothing other than a good player accorded the respect he deserves. A non nostalgic observer could clearly see that Rodri was better at the time. You just feel those Busi fanciful turns makes him better. Rodri is better because he is durable and can cover a lot of distance to ensure possession is kept all through the game. On the physical side, he is also more imposing and a great ball winner. |

Ibime:Why are non of your favorite DMs as successful as mine? We all saw how your no weakness Horjtout ended up. You really disappoint me for someone who claims to be a midfield expert. A DMs job is to help his team keep possession of the ball. Only when his team loses possession is when his ball recovery technique comes into play. When they have positional discipline and spatial awareness, being fast or slow becomes insignificant. There’s a reason Caicedo who in your school has no weakness lost the midfield to old Jorginho when we faced Flamengo. Go and rewatch the game without sentiment and see how Jorginho endlessly ran to ensure Flamengo kept hold of the ball. If turning with a man behind you is how you rate DMs, then I fear I might have even grossly overrated you. |

One day, stubborn people like Popizaino will learn to respect me. This was exactly what I predicted will happen. A disjointed press ended France’s hopes.

🚨🏴 𝗡𝗘𝗪: Former England players' statements ahead of England vs Argentina World Cup semi-final: 🚨🗣️ Ian Wright: "I don't fear Argentina like I'd fear France or Spain, because I think there are a lot of fallacies with them..." 🚨🗣️ John Terry: "If I’m being honest Argentina don’t worry me. I don’t look at Argentina and think they’re better than us. Player for player, I think we’re better than Argentina." 🚨🗣️ Gary Neville: "With the centre backs they have, I can’t see us not scoring at least two goals." 🚨🗣️ Joe Cole: "We're going to have to put Messi to sleep. We're going to put him to sleep. I'm saying it now, we're going to reach the World Cup final."
